I now genuinely believe it IS over. Doesn't make it much easier, but it does allow me to plan ahead. I'll be working on the financials this week. Poll Tax / Tax Credit / Gas / Electric / Phone, etc. To a certain degree, I may be slightly better off. Having a good solid financial base will help me to deal with the other 'stuff'.
Keep your head up fella. This song helped me a lot as I always imagined myself back on top of the world and dancing to this ON MY OWN at my daughter's wedding reception....probably says too much about me really..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POIIGYt5RlE .........it seems a long way from who I am now though.......
Much appreciated. I'm now starting with a blank piece of paper, which I'll be filling with what I (and the kids) want to do. Next year's UKPC at DTD is top of the pile. Although I'm not too sure how good Katie is at three-betting... Posted by Benchmark

Hello Mr Bench
It would be great to know that you are still ok and getting on with life even if this game is not a factor........if anyone knows Mr Bench, check how he is.......

So a divorce it is. Not entirely unexpected. Naturally, there are issues that cannot be discussed in an open forum. There have been a couple of other setbacks, not related to my marriage, that have not helped matters.
However, myself and my remaining family are in (relatively) good health and are looking to the future.
Think I might have a go at the forum games on Monday night.

Still plodding along.

Things haven't changed a great deal. I'm trying to move forward. It has been more difficult than I thought.
Fortunately, I have my kids and continuing support from my mum and my mum-in-law.
I am slowly getting back to myself, but there is still some way to go. I know I'll get there eventually and wouldn't wish this on anyone.
