I cant get particularly excited about different RB systems. Can you just confirm that the system will be the same for all players and there wont be any different RB deals for new players as whilst against the rules this encourages players to open a 2nd account in order to gain the extra RB.

Hi Sky Poker, just wondering if there will be an option for players to opt out or an alternative if they are unable to play at the time of the freerolls, presuming they will be 7pm same as other freerolls.

I know this probably isn't possible but thought would mention it as it occurred to me when the mayhem freerolls started, seems unfortunate that a % of players will not be able to partake due to the timing.

I also understand it is impossible to fix a time to suit all, i dont have a solution but thought would mention it and put it out there for yours and others thoughts and suggestions.

    Thanks in advance

It might be better giving 5 freeroll tokens, then players who cant play on a particular night can keep their token for when it suits them.

flexibility would make this a big success i think, Also the current freerolls are pretty sweet can we keep them up in exchange for points perhaps?

Is this SKYs new USP for recs and micro stakes players?

"Pay SKY high rake on our games and receive no rakeback"

Whoever came up with this as an "improvement" really is having a larf.

Can i ask whos feedback was used, was it the players or the suits who only see the £ signs?

Does this mean we get no money at all for poker points or as well as freeroll and tourny tickets?

So for priority players who start a new month who earn say 4-5k points in the first week then hit the 10k points mark the following week will they receive the first weeks rake-back at 0.02 per point on top of the 10%+ total rake-back at the end of the month or will it be deducted from this? Also once a player hits priority mid month do they stop receiving the weekly payments?

    Thanks

Maybe they plan to reduce the rake on microstakes games to compensate?

Yeah, something that needs clarifying is do you still get your PP's to cash and other bonus's?

Example; you get 275 points. Do you get £2.20 token only or token + £2.75 C4P's?

I'm guessing the former, otherwise there wouldn't be such a fallout ;)

Like most people on this site, I'm a recreational player. I don't play enough online for the rakeback to make any substantial difference to my wallet, and if I'm honest, it's not something I pay particular attention to - at all. I'm guessing most others are sharing the same boat.

I don't really know why so many people, who just play the game for the fun of it (that is, most of us) get so hot under the collar about any changes to its implementation. The concept of rakeback is an artificial one anyway: before online poker started there was no such thing. You don't stand up from your cash table in your local casino and expect the dealer to throw you a chip just for sitting down for the last few hours, do you?

It's one thing for those who make their living from playing the game to have a quiet moan, but for the other 98% of us, surely it's a shrug of the shoulders and onto the next hand, right?

*statistics may have been devised on the spot.

Prioority customers will receive rakeback on top of all weekly payments.

For example, if you were to earn 2,500 points for the first 4 weeks in June, you would receive £50 in each weekly payment, totalling £200, and would then receive 10% rakebaack in addition to this.

However, if you were to earn 7,000 points in one week, and 1,000 points for the following three weeks, you'd receive £140 in week 1, and £12.50 for the following three weeks, totalling £177.5.

Basically, at a Priority level, we're rewarding consistancy as well as volume.

New and improved for sky imo not the customer.

Shame really I loved the cash for pts but I  guess all good things come to an end. This is to be expected as changes are going to be made to improve skys profit at the end of the day.

    Hi Craig,

To confirm -  you would receive the £2.20 token only.

However, you would be more than half way to £5 cash!

Explain that bit please are you saying that weekly totals will still be added at end of month and given out as c4ps?

Or as i am thinking will points be reset every week when you get a token or £5 if you make 500points?

Monthly payments are finished its done weekly now and reset every week. What's shown on the table is what you receive if you achieve the required points for that week.

    Hi Churchy,

You're correct - points will reset at the end of each week.
