    So with all those tables and players entered in Day 1a, we have two Sky qualifiers in adjacent seats.

    Early days, but on my travels I have seen Ben Nuttall scooping a nice pot in with AQ and Tim Rowland getting it quietly without showdown.

    William Kerr in good spirits I think but I couldn't really tell what he was saying to me.

    Michael Skudder has chipped up to about 13k from the starting stack of 10. The last time I walked past the boys on Table 71 they were betting into each other. No love lost there.

    Not directly related to the Sky players, but Barry Hutter who earlier won the $1500 Shootout, started playing 3-handed with the other 4 registered players not yet turned up, then busted one of his two opponents so he has doubled up and is now effectively playing heads-up early on Day 1.
