James Jeffrey, who should be familiar to you all, had 16,000 overnight, but now has 50,000. Don't tell anyone, right? I asked him "how?", & he just said, rather coyly, " well I was splashing around a bit......". Interestingly, he has been moved to the same table as Lee Rogers, who has zoomed from 19,500 overnight to north of 40,000. He got a full 2xUp with, remarkably, his Q-Q v, err, A-7. Posted by Tikay10
Simmy must have had too much to drink last night, he is firmly on the rail with William Kerr so there must have been an administrative error on behalf of the wsop with the overnight chipcounts.
I must say, and I have told him this. I was rather surprised to see David Watkin on the overnight chipcounts. Everytime I passed his table he was grinding a well below average stack but managed to run that up to 48k by days end. He has made a steady start today and was still going strong on last glance. WP Sir
Level 12 has just begun, 600-1,200/200. 891 players remain, with 468 due to be paid. The min cash will be $1,803, & the winner will pocket $646,000. Posted by Tikay10
......and exactly 30 minutes later, just 792 remain. 100 in 30 minutes?
Bear in mind the plasmas sometimes run behind reality, but either way, the MAXIMUM number left is now 792. I'd hazard a guess it will be at least 25 less.
I dont know where you are getting your info from but stories of my exit have been greatly exaggerated. I am still alive and very much kicking.
I have been chippin up nicely and am currently sat with 245k.
Most notable hand was when i picked up 67hh in the hijack and repopped alan cunningham who had opened utg.
The flop came down 4h 5h jc. He donked pot and i smooth call.
The turn drops jh completing my flush. He counts out his chips in a calculated way before jamming 32k into a pot of 12k. Obvs this is a massive overbet and i contemplated laying down my monster, but on further inspection i noticed he was twisting his wedding ring around his finger. I had seen him do this whilst he was running a huge bluff vs ivey in high stakes poker circa 2009. I used this tell to my advantage an made the call.
Unfortunatly he must have been exploiting this tell against observant players for years because he had jsjd for quads.
The river brings the 8h and i smash a straight flush and send the pro to the rail. Hopeully gonna be first guy to go past 1/4 of a mil.
All the players are now in the Amazon room, playing alongside the ESPN feature table. The noise of chips riffling is somewhat deafening.
I have just had a stroll round the tables and have seen 7 of our guys battling away. No sign of Steven Lundie or David Maudlin but that doesn't mean they are no longer running, there are about 700 bodies still grinding away.
Chip counts for the Sky Poker guys who I did see:
Arpad Demeter - 83k, As I walked past the board read 10 J Q K A with no suits. Arpad lead out 7k on the river, a very confused villian eventually popped in the chips for the call and the chop was made.
Tim Rowland - 65k, I don't think I have seen Timmy this week without his SnapBack on back to front. Must make you a good player judging by the remainder of the players who are also sporting this.
Gerard Gardner - 35k Ticking along nicely without much drama today
David Watkin - 50k, I imagine he must be out of his comfort zone with more than 10 big blinds.
Lee Rogers - 32k, Apologies to Lee as I walked past he was doubling a shorty up when his 10 10 lost a race to A Q, the Ace flopped but we did have a club sweat on the river that missed.
Paul Jackson 43k, Paul has just moved tables. May I suggest an eye test for Mr Jackson who thought he may have moved to Johnny Chan's table. However I look more like Johnny Chan than the guy in question.
James Jeffery 43k - Getting it quietly (literally)
20 minutes remain of Level 13, & the plasmas suggest that 630 players remain in contention.
The Dinner break is after Level 16, so with 468 paid, the bubble is likely to burst half an hour either side of dinner. Think I'll go for after dinner, as it tightens up dramatically near the bubble.
Lee Rogers got his last 9 big blinds in the middle from the button with Q 6. The gentleman in the BB looked him up with AA. It didn't end well for Lee.
David Maudlin bust earlier to day shipping AJ into the Big Blinds KQ and unfortunately not holding.
AJ was not a friend for James Jeffery either I am afraid. The flop came Jack high but unfortunately the villian had slow played KK to perfection.
Finally got busted with my suited Q6 clubs. Down to 9 bigs and AA looked me up. Oh well, made up that I got as far as I did since it was my first time playing live.
Just wanted to say thanks to Sky for this amazing opportunity to play in Vegas. Everyone has been great and good luck to those that remain.
PS
Look out Stuaty117 and Wardstar84 I am coming back to the £3.30 DYMs!

Tremendous effort, & the main thing is you enjoyed it, & had an unforgettable experience.
Great updates by everyone(players included). How many sky players left Tikay/Sam? And is old man Paul Jackson or Timmyrara(cant remember real name at this time of night) still in the tournament?
Comments
Steady start for Tim Rowland, 71,000 from 66,000 overnight.
Dave Maudlin is not in his seat, someone else is. No idea if he has been moved or the other thing.
Philip Green has gone from 36,000 to 23,000 on a seriously tough table & seat.
Paul Jackson has been moved (to Amazon), but his stack remains unchanged.
Arped Demeter has been moved (he has NOT bust) but I can't find his new table yet.
Alex Graham down to 22,000 from 36,000.
I will go patrol the Pavilion room next. It's a bit awkward, as tables are breaking so fast.

MAN OVERBOARD
Unforch, Philip Green is OUT.
He had Q-Q on a J-4-3 flop v Mr Mizrachi who had 5-6. You can work the rest out.
MAN OVERBOARD
Alex Graham is out, too, he collided with Aces.
Maybe I am just unlucky, gotta go now and do my night shift at the Greek bank.

Level 13 has commenced, with blinds now 800-1,600/200.
If the plasmas are up to date (they are not), 711 remain.
Am not 100% certain, but I think we just lost Lee Rogers. Am trying to clarify this.

Level 14 has commenced, & there are, supposedly, 576 left, so we are 108 off the money.
