    Just watched Brett play out a very big hand.

    It's opened to 400 in the cut off, & Brett makes it 1,100 on the button.

    Kid in the BB, wearing a horrendous fluorescent orange day-glo t-shirt (why do people wear such bright colours?), gives Brett a long, mean, stare. Brett does not respond, he just looks at the felt. Day-Glo stares at Brett, then stares again. Real mean stare. I nearly wet myself, it was so mean.

    Day-Glo makes it 3,000.

    Cut off folds quickly & carries on with their knitting.
     
    Brett gives it a long think. Then flats. 

    Off we go......

    Day-Glo gives the mean stare again. Meannnnnnnn.

    He eventually bets 4,000.

    Brett just stares at the felt. After about a minute, he just calls.

    So, Qc - 5c - 3h - Ac.

    Day-glo is still giving Brett the mean staredown.

    Day-Glo bets 6,000.

    Again, Brett dwells for a minute, never once giving Day-Glo the eye.

    Call.

    This is a BIG pot now, & Day-Glo has just 6k behind. (Why did he leave 6k behind, looked like shove or check to me given the pot size).

    I've had a Memo from the Suits (these are rarely telling me I'm the greatest.....) saying I can't keep blowing their promo budget.
     
    I've told them "don't worry boys, your money is safe".

    Seeing as we're allowed 2 guesses I'm putting Brett on pocket 3s and the orange fella on too much tango and a pair of jacks.

    These reads may explain why I'm posting this from my sofa rather than the Rio.
