6 to 6. 24 hours to kill

Afternoon all.  Hope you're having a good day.  For once in my life I'm at a loose end on a Saturday so I've decided to do something I've been wanting to do for a long time.  A 24 hour MTT challenge.  Normally on the weekend I'm looking after my girls or working so I don't have the time and when I did have the time I didn't have the roll to afford the probable loss I will have.  As of the first day of this year I had a whole penny in my account, as of now it stands at 224.38 so it's time to have some fun with it :-)

Starting at 6pm tonight I plan to try to play MTT's for 24 hours straight.  In that time I plan to play at least one of all the types of MTT's Sky has to offer, freezeout, rebuy, timed, deepstack, satellite, PLO, PLO8, freeroll and I may make room for a BH or two :).  I plan to start at least one per hour.

People have done 24 hour challenges here before but not doing it with MTT's as far as I can remember.  There are one or two slight problems with this. Firstly is if I do well and I have more screens open then I can deal with.  6 is about my limit and a few deep runs will find me very near this, or above it.  The second is sleep.  This is where MTT's score over cash and STT's.  I can get 5 mins sleep an hour and not miss a hand. :).  Hopefully plenty of coffee will see me through this, if not then it may all go a bit wrong.  If that happens, well, it's only a bit of fun :)

If I somehow turn a profit on this then any profit I make I will withdraw and donate to cancer research up to 500 quid (just covering myself incase I bink the main tonight, hey I want some profit for myself if that happens!)  I will start by playing the Main semi sat and the 2.30 bh starting at 6 tonight and end sometime after 6 tomorrow playing god knows what!  If you want to come by and say hi then please do and best of luck on the tables all.

    Will try too.  Not a great start, infact that was the worst start possible, almost.  Out of the first two within 30 mins.  Played like a muppet in the sat until I picked up AQ with 1200 chips and blinds 100/50.  Jammed all in over a min raise and got snapped off by him with KK.  K on the flop ment there was no sweat for him.  Took 1 head in the BH then got it all in 3 ways with QQ against AJ and A6.  Great spot for me, until both other aces come down and its gg me.  Thems the breaks.  In and out of a 5 quid BH.  Iso shoved over a shortys all in with A10.  Pity there was someone behind with AK.  I turned the 10.  Pity the flop was K high :( lol.  Also in a 3 quid 30 mins timed tourny.  Thats going ok....... so far

    1st break, good and bad.  Mainly bad but one shining beacon.  Ran like god in the timed tourny

    Crashed out of another 5 quid bh playing badly so first hour and balance is now 227.56 so a small profit on the first hour.  In both UKPC freerolls and will play the 19.15 2 quid deepy too.  Gl all

    2 hours in and balance is now 219.86.  Out of both freerolls before late reg ended.  Oops.  Still in the deepy and the PLO so I'm a bit ahead of where I could expect to be.  Will enter the 8.05 bh and maybe the mini depending on how I'm running.  Gl all

    Rather uneventful hour.  Still in the deepy but crashed in the BH and out 8/26 in the PLO.  Not too much to report, few good hands, few bad hands.  Just a standard hours poker.  Onto the next one :)

    Ty.  Update time again.  In and  out of the PLO8, meh.  2 all in sats, meh.  Still in the PLO and 7/9/21 with about 9 bigs when the blinds go up so have been in worse places.  Have regged for the headhunter at 10.05 and the quid rebuy at 10.15.  BR is 205.96 after regging them.  A cash would be nice soon.  Please :)  Gl all
