i remember the first time i played live most people were understanding at my few mistakes but one table i sat at this one guy was rude impatient and tried to belittle me at every turn. After taking it for a while i simply told him that he wasnt sitting behind a computer screen now using the chat box and if he continued to give me a hard time we would take it out into the car park.I'm not a tough guy by any means but it had the effect of belittleing him infront of the rest of the table and i didn't get a peep out of him again.

I have had a great time. Met loads of great people too many to mention. Had loads of fun. Laughed a lot! My sides ache! Hearing my alias on another table and not dare look to see who as saying my name. Wouldnt have recognised em anyway. To say it's been a blast has been an understatement. Here for the w.e now. Why not no kids. So fun time for me for a change. Gl everyone who still in especially to our rose.

Very glad you enjoyed yourself Darkangel. Normally only the winner is totally satisfied with how any poker tournament went and if often play with 500+ people that won't be us all that often.

Good to make having fun part of the plan.

Neil, I went knowing I wouldn't get far, but not to be first out and lasting till after the break and level 5 suited me fine. Having bobbafett to my right was probably the most scariest thing ever. My chips dwindled as I just totally froze everything poker related disappeared. My exit hand was one I will remember. I never got the players name who was sat next to Hendrick but I knew he had AA. I had A5s and had two Spades on the board. Did what I knew I had to do and shoved my meagre stack all in. Turn was a heart, river was a diamond. No spades to save me. To be perfectly honest I wasn't dissapointed at all. I played that hand the right way and couldn't have played it any differently and wouldn't. To meet so many people from Sky has been amazing. If I never get to go and play in another live event ever. I have a lot of great memories and as I said met loads of amazing, funny and brilliant poker players which have left a very big impact on me in a good way.

I ended up at A n E when I got back home due to my ankles swelling to 4 times their usual size. Thought they were going to keep me in but luckily I dodged that bullet and finally got home at 4 am. All the while keeping updated on how the main and mini was going by phone. Managed to congratulate Michael on his coming 5th as well. Well apart from the hospital trip, teach me to party and have fun all week end, it was a blast.

Hey Angel, you were great fun on the table, your seat draw was a bit like being thrown into the ring with Carl Froch, it obviously really got to you as Dean Taylor (mkgunner) was to your right and Paul McTaggert (bobbafett) was actually to your left ;-))
Pretty tough for your first big live event considering they both cashed, with P McT FT ing both high roller and main.

My kids think minion is a great likeness BTW :-))

Thrown to the sharks but it was a great experience. Would have preferred Carl Froch tbh than the table draw I got :D MKGunner was good fun, Bobbafett scared the life out of me at least my chips proved good luck to em ;)  Glad the kids loved the minion. You have such a great sense of humour, I wouldn't have given it you if I thought it would have caused any offence. But now you sort of know my sense of humour. Look forward to meeting you again on the green felt. ;)

    Angellllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!

You need a sense of perspective.
I don't care who is on my poker table.
A&E with swollen ankles sounds way worse.

Geldy I had a blast, ankles like elephants didn't bother me. Am having a barrage of tests done as have totally confused them as to what it is. Second time the Vampire got me in 3 days. Least if there is anything wrong they are going to find out fairly soon. Either way poker came first and ankles second. If I die tomorrow least i've had a fantastic time.
