GG Jonny, you had me on the ropes in the first game, had to gamble to get double up and back in game. Then we were even stacks for a while whilst the blinds went up and the cards played themselves. 2nd game was aipf 3rd hand I think!

GG anyway mate was fun, the 2-0 score line didnt tell the whole story.

    Anecdotal observation.

I play poker pretty much every day for hours and hours.

I take notes on players online and thats what i rely upon when i come across players.

I played 3 games H/U  in this event , got beat 2-1. And i can remember calling / shoving / my opponents playing style bet sizing .

    Isnt that nuts.

    Great comp P66

    Even though im out out.

    Hendrik62 1-2 Ice_Tiger

Really enjoyed it against a first class but ultimately unlucky opponent.

He won the first game. Cannot remember how as I have blanked it out of my mind.

I won the second. No, the Alzheimers is letting me down on this one as well.

The final one, I can remember. I was about 2:1 up, raised, he shoved with K7 & I called with KT. We both hit our kicker but my hand held.

I enjoyed this game of poker as much as any for some time.

    Great Competition & Great Organisation.

    Very well done Ice tiger,

Played really well, kept the heat on at the right times and won both of the last two games with best starting hands (not sure how that happenned, I am usually the master of getting it in bad and lucking out ;-))

Good luck in the next round .

And just to reiterate what many have said, very well played Phantom, taking your idea and organising it so well.

Poker says so much about people. We have all seen players with bad attitudes. Hendrik was a pleasure to play against and was a gracious loser and no doubt would have been a humble winner if the breaks had gone his way.

Obviously in a best of three, the luck factor is quite high and this time they went my way (just remember the second game was AQ v AJ).

Looking forward to the next round. Is Orford still in?

Fully enjoyed playing the diary derby, despite coming out on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline.

    Very interesting games.

WP Jac, best of luck in rnd 3.

    Ah, beat me to it.

Lonesome was quite unlucky in the end.  Got it in good twice to win the first match, then suffered two A on A coolers.
