A disappointing night for UKPC, with just 44 entrants in the weekly Final, which needed 50 to cover, so Overlay City was the name of the game.
Having said that, it still surprises me that the numbers are so high, considering there are still 9 weekly finals to go. Poker players don't generally tend to consider looking too far ahead.
Of those 10 qualifiers, 2 had previously qualified, so the net increase was 8, bringing the UKPC Lobby up to 144, which is, in old money, one third of a gross.
So, this bunch are all sorted, with their passage to Nottingham in February secured.
55 runners last night, so 11 seats, though 4 were qualified already. That takes the Target Event Lobby to 60, with some 7 weeks still to go.
How CTBN won it is one of those mysteries which shall remain forever. How do these things happen?

I have contacted them to see if they can change me over to the saturday but they are not sure and going to get back to me once theyve spoken to the team who deals with it. is there anything else i can do?

T & C's clearly say......
"To have the chance of winning a Sky Poker UK Poker Championships Main Event seat you can qualify either via satellites or by direct buy-in at the event venue, Dusk Till Dawn. Successful players will be entered into Day 1C, which commences on Saturday 27th February 2015 at 12.00pm."
I imagine that you will receive a correction from Sky Poker shortly, confirming that it the Saturday.

Lol, i got that but a guy called danny looked into it and spoke to the right team and emailed me saying all is fine to be in the saturday- hope i dont turn up and ive been eliminated haha!

Hi TK, I would like to play on Day1A (Thurs) if possible, to allow multiple bullets, and possibly get a day's rest with any luck. There is a chance I may be in the high roller, but only if I satellite in, in the first place, AND make day2 (not very likely).

Last night's qualifiers were.....

So, this bunch are all sorted, with their passage to Nottingham in February secured.
Meanwhile, amidst all the UKOPS hoohah, don't forget the weekly UKPC Final is at 9.15pm this evening.
With 10 x £1,100 seats guaranteed, & needing 50 entrants to cover, just 38 are in so far.
I smell overlay here, more value than Tesco.

Somehow, despite only 38 registered yesterday morning, last night's UKPC Final got over the line with 53 entrants, so that was good.
However, 45 of them had qualified already, so it only added 6 to the Nottingham Final Lobby.
Those who "won" yesterday included Misty4Me, STAYORGO, I8PALACE, RSPCA12, Nutter5932, Dustolucko & FeelGroggy.
So, with just shy of 2 months to go, this crew are all set for the £1 million Guaranteed Sky Poker UKPC.
