That's great, many thanks Aussie, really appreciate your hard work with this!

Opening post has been updated to reflect Aussies updates. Already £700 pledged for 2016.

Thx also to mattprawn for pledging the £50 for the TLB aspect of the comp, despite not being in that part of it. Very generous of you sir!

    Cheers,

    Graham

Great to have you on board Gary. Very worthwhile and important charity. Are you OK with all the rules etc?

From a pledge perspective, it is £50 plus £10 for each main, mini or £55 BH you win in 2016, that goes in a prize pool split between the charities of the top 4 winners. Is that OK?

Are you OK with your name appearing on the thread/spreadsheets?

Regarding your PM Gary, no payments need to be made until 01/01/2017, so will give you all the information you need then.

Thank for supporting TLB2016, really appreciate it!

Aussie, please could you add MonkeyGLB to the "Tournament Wins" list of players? Many thanks.

    Cheers,

    Graham

    Hi David.

Yes, I know you won the mini, because you beat me heads up I believe. :=)

For some reason that didn't come up in Aussie's tracking.

Aussie, could you take a look please? David, to assist Aussie, can you remember the date you won it?

    Many thanks,

    Graham

Great, thanks Rob, I have cross referenced via the results thread, and this appears to be the only anomaly.

The opening post has now been updated to reflect this change.

    Appreciate your efforts with this!

    Hi Aussie.

Don't worry if it's too difficult, however, is it possible to work out what MattBates and rspca12 points totals would have been in 2015, if there was only one point for the £55 Speed BH?

We are considering lowering the point value for the £55 Speed tournament to 1 point, and I would like to see what the impact would have been last year. If we go with one point for £55 speed this year, I may adjust the engraved total on the 2015 trophy, if rspca12 still would have won in the proposed new format.

    Thanks again for your assistance.

    Cheers,

    Graham

Just "chatted" with Danny (FeelGroggy) and he's changing his charity to:  http://www.carerstrustcambridgeshire.org/

    CARERSTRUST formally CROSSROADS.

They do some outstanding work assisting carer's in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area.

    Thanks for the support Danny.

Please note charities can be amended up until 31st January.

Existing and New competitors have until then to finalise details.

    All the best,

    Graham

    hi graham,

i didn't differentiate last year between the 9pm and the 10:30pm for your totals.  going back and counting is not really practical.  however, looking at the totals you can deduce some answers.

rspca12 beat mattbates on points and had fewer 2pt wins, two thirds what matt had.  the 10:30pm is know as the MBI because matt wins it an astonishing number of times.  if the MBI was awarded 1 point the overall total would still mean that rscpa would be the winner last year.  it is safe to guess that.

maybe a good way forward is to ask rspca12 how many MBIs and reduce his total accordingly.

    hope this helps

Yes it does help, thx Aussie, will let you know if £55 Speed is going to be 1pt or 2 going forward.

Does it cause you difficulty if we reduce it to one pt for 2016?

    Cheers,

    Graham

Just to point out, it was Matt Bates suggestion to reduce points for the £55 Speed BH.

Which goes to show you what an honourable guy his is, to suggest a change in format that will likely disadvantage him, because he believes it to be fairer! WP MB.

So competitors, you decide, post your thoughts here please. 1pt or 2pts for the £55 Speed?

    Cheers,

    Graham

P.S. Rules set in stone after 31st Jan.

managed to win the mini tonight :-)
Had a think about the speed being 1 point reduction and think it is a better system, as it is more difficult to win the 9pm given larger field size and slower structure. Very nice of Matt to offer it as one point as he knows he'll win it more than all of us combined ;-)

    Hi Graham,

I'd like to join in. I've had a lucky start to the year so happy to share some of the winnings. I only play the main when I can sat into it and I'm struggling for time at the moment so you will see me plumet down the leader board.

Thanks for your great charity work. My charity with be the MacMillan Cancer Support in recognition of the work Max Ball is doing while his dad Steve (Ice-Tiger) is battling cancer.

Let me know what info you need from me and how to contribute.

    Thanks,

    Donald Sloss
