You gonna look back in 10 years time and think 'yeah, June 2016 was a good month cos I could make a slightly bigger credit card payment and enjoy branded cereal for a few weeks'? Happy in the knowledge that by keeping quiet you deprived someone else of the chance to fly out to Vegas and play a WSOP event? Laughable to say you wouldn't like it done to you, then try and justify why you might do it.

    Ignorant...been called much worse...today...twice. Kids ehh...

    Who is depriving whom. If you cant go ( reasonable reason permitting ) you take the £1k. What happens to the rest if you inform a poker site that you cant go.....Deprivation comes from poker site not player.

    I have personal experience with similar. Qualifief for £10k wsope in london some years ago and could not attend. T & C thrown about like confetti. Couple of emails later the money was in my account.

    Recently qualified for nottingham £1k ukop. There was a chance i could not attend and asked for advise on forum. Someone offered to buy it. I said they could have it for free and we do a split on winnings. I had a generous outlook due to having qualified for live events regularly the previous year. I regularly give away £220 live event tickets to friends for free. Im not a good person for doing it, equally im not a bad person if i charged them. Its my money to do as i please which bring me back to my main point which is any winnings whether package or not is the PLAYERS MONEY

    What is the time frame of the expenses being deposited into you account after you secure a trip?
    I think craig can do as he wishes as he won the trip.What would happen if a trip winner suddenly had a" fear of flying bout".
    If he goes alone, more spends.If with a +1 then +1 gets half priced flight near on.
    As for once in a lifetime, not sure.Thousands go to DisneyLand every year, we are supposed to be one of the richer nations.
    But i suppose the  "buzz of vegas" cannot be replicated.

    I think it would be beneficial to remember that there are different types of qualifier.

    I agree that it is "our money" for the ones who qualify via the final, but different rules do (and should) apply for winners via the Mayhem etc
