Event 20 - $1500 Millionaire Maker, NLH, Day 3 of 4, 7761 entries After another long day, we have fourteen players moving on to what should be the final day of the Millionaire Maker.
Local player Ralph Perry is top dog ahead of Daniel Chan and Bryce Yockey.
A player from Ireland with a very un-Irish name, Yuriy Boyko is fourth, one of two players from the Emerald Isle still involved (Marc MacDonnell is 11th)
The last British player, Lucas Blanco, was knocked out in 37th for $28160.
A mention for Kenny Hallaert who came close to making final tables in vast fields for a third straight year (after the 2015 Colossus and the 2016 Main Event) he made the last two tables but bowed out in 17th.
Event 22 - $10K 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship No Limit, Day 3 of 3, single re-entry, 92 entries It's a third bracelet for John Monnette as he led most of the final day and beat Per Hildebrand heads-up. Monette's previous wins came in 2011 (8-game mix) and 2012 (Stud).
He picks up $256 for his efforts, Swede Hildebrand $158K and Darren Elias $110 for third.
Of the other better known player at the FT, they went out early - Paul Volpe in 8th, Mike Leah 7th and Mike Gorodinsky 6th.
Event 23 - $2620 The Marathon (100 minute levels), Day 2 of 5, 1759 entries It truly is a marathon as we're at the end of Day 2 and we still haven't (quite) burst the bubble.
264 will get paid a minimum of $3934, but 268 players were able to bag chips at the end of the night.
Maurice Hawkins needed the biggest bag, with 920K chips in it. Aussie Alexander Lynskey was second with two-thirds of the leader's stack, and Event 15 winner Adrian Mateos in third.
Michael Kane is a well-known player here on Sky (I don't track the big games enough to know whether he still plays here) and was shown with just 1 chip on the Day 1 listings, well he's doing considerably better than that now as he lies 7th overnight with over half a million.
Niall Farrell (also from Glasgow) lies just outside the top 10, Markus Kuhnen is 22nd and Darren Judges 32nd. Other GB players through - Harry Lodge, Pratik Ghatge, James Millman and Ben Dobson.
Event 24 - $1500 Limit Hold'em, Day 2 of 3, 616 entries Fifteen left with a Nguyen at the top. Not TV veteran Scotty, or even last year's ME winner Qui, but Nancy Nguyen, who has a sprinkling of WSOP cashes over the years (including one so far this series) is the chip leader at the end of the night.
The only previous bracelet winner is another TV veteran, Barry Greenstein. He has 3 but none of them in Hold'em.
Event 25 - $1K PLO, Day 1 of 3, 1058 entrants The bubble burst in this one, even before the last level of play commenced and we have 102 players going through.
Casey Carroll is numero uno at this point, ahead of Jia Mai and Jesse Fulmer, with the looming presence of The Grinder, Michael Mizrachi in 4th.
Fraser MacIntrye is top Brit in 4th (Scottish players doing well today) and he is accompanied by Darren Taylor, Chris Flint, Daniel Tang and Madhava Wimalaratna.
Event 26 - $10K 7 Card Razz Championship, Day 1 of 3, 97 entries Need a few zzzzzzzzzzz's? How about Don Zewin, Anthony Zinno and Andrey Zhigalov. They lie 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Event 26 after day 1, and you can throw in Viacheslav Zhukov in 9th there too.
They're all chasing the chip leader Frank Kassela though with 38 players holding on through Day 1.
Just the one Brit - Stephen Chidwick - and a blast-from-the-past in 33rd place, double ME FT'er (well before the days of the November Nine) Donnacha O'Dea.
To start today Event 27 - $3K NLH 6-Max, 3 Day Event Event 28 - $1500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit), 3 Day Event

yes, michael played in april in 4 major games, cashing in one. he is known much more for cash on sky. i played against him in the ukpc in nottingham. i won a hand.
Event 20 - $1500 Millionaire Maker, NLH, Day 4 of 4, 7761 entries The Millionaire Maker is over after a relatively early finish on Day 4.
It's a bracelet for Canada as Pablo Mariz rivered a pair of Queens to finish off rival Dejuante Alexander after a 23-hands long heads-up match.
Earlier, Alexander Farahi had finished third and the Irish pair Marc MacDonell and Yuriy Boyko ended up 4th and 6th.
Mariz (who was making his 4th cash of the series) had a previous best win a week ago of $9120 at this years PCA. He's knocked that into the distance now by first being a runner-up in the $1k Tag team ($46K) and now collecting $1.22m.
Event 23 - $2620 The Marathon (100 minute levels), Day 3 of 5, 1759 entries We are still in play with 77 left, and the good Sky news is that Michael Kane is among them. His chip count show he has slightly less than he did at the start of play but appears to be comfortable enough.
Maurice Hawkins retains the chip lead ahead of "the Toilet" Faraz Jaka and top Brit Pratik Ghatga.
Event 24 - $1500 Limit Hold'em, Day 3 of 3, 616 entries The second bracelet of the day (well actually it was the first because this finished a couple of hours before Event 20)
Shane Buchwald was playing in his very first WSOP event and ends up holding a 100% record. The Canadian, currently resident in Brazil, won the last 6 hands of the heads-up to beat Venkata "Sandy" Tayi.
All nine players on the FT were searching for their debut bracelet - Barry Greenstein having been knocked out in 11th.
Event 25 - $1K PLO, Day 2 of 3, 1058 entrants In play with 15 left and we have joint leaders, with one of the being UK player Darren Taylor and the other being Russian Igor Sharaskin.
Among the other 13 is 2014 November Niner Bruno Politano
Event 26 - $10K 7 Card Razz Championship, Day 2 of 3, 97 entries Still in play and we've recently lost the only British representative, Stephen Chidwick.
Ten left headed at present by James Obst but a whole host of good players are on his tail
Event 27 - $3K NLH 6-Max, Day 1 of 3, 959 entrants Very close to the end of Day 1 (3 hands to play has been declared) with about 300 still in. Some players reently mentioned as having chips include Sam Grafto, Annette Obrestad and Chris Ferguson.
Event 28 - $1500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit), Day 1 of 3, 326 entrants 49 will be paid (with the winner collecting $109K), so we're still some way off the money with about 114 players left and Day 1 play still ongoing (They are currently in Level 8 with 2 more after that to play tonight)
Our friend Stuart Rutter is shown as still having chips, but Benny Glaser and Adam Owen are among those who have left the Event.
To start today Event 29 - $2500 NLH, 3 Day Event Event 30 - $10K HORSE Championship, 3 Day Event
The Darren Taylor in event 25 is a Sky regular. Was with us in Vegas in 2015. Good luck Darren. Posted by Sky_SamT
Thanks Sam, never realised that. I knew he'd played a few of the UKPC events.
He's just bagged and tagged for the day with 11 left, having suffered a bit of a loss late on after tangling with the other chip leader. He's now in the middle of the pack and locked up a little over 10 grand.
He's got quite a mention in the end-of-day recap on the WSOP site.

Plays on Sky as? I know Michael Kane from here and UKPC, and think he has the ability to go on and FT/win his event. Good luck both anyway.
No updates on Anthony Kendall from the UK?. I have heard he is smashing it up over there. Three cashes from three events so far....on his way to making a million....;)

Updates Event 23 Got to the end of Day 3 with 56 left, including Michael Kane from these parts. He has some British company on his Day 4 table as he is alongside Darren Judges on table 729.
Maurice Hawkins been at or near the top for days now, and he is second, behind only Faraz Jaka
Event 25 Down to 11 and another Sky Poker player still in with a shout - Darren Taylor. He is in 6th with the man who grabbed a big chunk of his stack, Igor Sharakin, top of the listings. At the very bottom is Bruno Politano.
Event 26 Finished Day 2 with 9 players, Aussie James Obst still leading the way.
Event 27 I was quite a bit off with my guess of 300 or so players left in, the final end of night number was 201.
Craig Varnell, Jeffrey Coddington and Andy Spears are the top 3 with top Brit being Scott Margereson in 10th.
Other GB names listed - Chi Zhang (54th), Sam Grafton (62nd), Max Silver (71st), Tom Middleton (88th), Sadan Turker (105th), Lucas Blanco (147th) and Daniel Barriocanal (161st)
Event 28 And it's a third tournament in which we can have some Sky Poker interest as Stuart Rutter is moving along nicely in the middle of the pack. 61 go forward to Day 2
Event 23 Down to 49 already, no drama for Mr Kane. We have lost recent bracelet winner Adrian Mateos so that's a good sign. Still on the $12K payout line, next payjump is at 45 players when the recompense jumps to $14446.
Event 25 Chip leader Sharaskin missed the first few hands by arriving late, but with lead perhaps he could afford to. Taylor not yet mentioned in updates, but chip counts page indicates he has picked up a few and moved up one position to 5th Still at 11 players as a couple of Politano shoves have not been called.
Event 23 Down to 42, still no mention (good or bad) of our man, but at least he's still alive and kicking.
Event 25 Progress here as our man Taylor has bust Jesse Chinni to reduce the field to 10 and leave us with the unofficial FT. The whole field has concertina-d with Sharaskin no longer the chip leader after losing a number of chunky pots, most of which were won by Tyler Groth who replaced him as the big dog but has himself since being replaced on top by Allan Le.
Sorry folks, no Sky Poker player bracelet to report.
Event 23 - $2620 The Marathon (100 minute levels), Day 4 of 5, 1759 entries Michael Kane was eventually busted in 36th spot (just after a pay jump) for $17491 when his pocket Kings were in good shape pre-flop against Josh Weiss and his AK, but an Ace on the flop was the end of the lengthy run for the man from Glasgow.
Maurice Hawkins is still up among the leaders, but has surrendered the chip lead to Tim Reilly, a bit part of that swing coming in a hand when Hawkins' moved all in with Aces Full but Reilly had the easiest call he will ever make as he held a Royal Flush.
Currently 17 players are still involved, with Pratik Ghatge the only UK player amongst them
Event 25 - $1K PLO, Day 3 of 3, 1058 entrants Event 25 finished and the bracelet in in the hands of Tyler Groth from Iowa. The first-time bracelet winner started the final day stong and finished it equally strong to claim the title and the $179K first prize.
Jonathan Zarin was the losing heads up player and Allan Le was third.
"Our" Darren Taylor finished a memorable tournament in 4th, with the $56K a very nice payday. He went out holding an underset to Le, who unfortunately also held the blocker to prevent Taylor getting quads.
Event 26 - $10K 7 Card Razz Championship, Day 2 of 3, 97 entries James Obst has only been playing at the WSOP since 2014, but in that time he's made 6 final tables and twice finishing runner-up, most recently in Event 7 a few days ago.
This time, the Aussie converted to bring him his first bracelet and $265K, despite entering heads-up play against Eric Kurtzman wiah a 3:1 chip deficit. It takes him to second in the WSOP Player of the Year rankings trailing just Pablo Mariz.
David "ODB" Baker finihed 3rd, Brandon Shack-Harris 6th and Nick Schulman 9th.
Event 27 - $3K NLH 6-Max, Day 2 of 3, 959 entrants At the final break of Day 2 (so 2 levels still to play) and we have a British chip leader. Londoner Max Silver is the man, and has virtually double his nearest challenger.
Chris Moorman is still there too, in 10th spot of the 24 survivors.
Sam Grafton went out in 106th for $4789 and Tom "Middy" Middleton 39th for a little under ten thousand dollars.
Event 28 - $1500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit), Day 2 of 3, 326 entrants Getting down to the business end with just nine players left, unfortunately Stuart Rutter isn't amongst them as he went out shortly before the bubble.
By far the biggest name still involved is one of the Mizrachi brothers, Robert.
Event 29 - $2500 NLH, Day 1 of 3, 1086 entrats Day 1 has just ended with preliminary indications showing 239 survivors led by Spain's Pablo Fernandez, but more information will become availble later.
Event 30 - $10K HORSE Championship, Day 1 of 3, 150 entrants Still in play (and late reg has only just closed) but numbers are down here, 21 from last years field. 23 will get paid so we are a long way from the bubble but names mentioned in recent updates include Stephen Chidwick and Adam Owen from the UK, Daniel Negreanu, Maria Ho, Michael Mizrachi, reigning champion Jason Mercier, and unsurpisingly Event 26 winner James Obst who was runner-up in this event 12 months ago.
To start today Event 31 - $1K Seniors NLH, 3 Day Event Event 32 - $1500 Mixed PLO 8, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better & Big O, 3 Day Event plus another starting day of The Giant (Event 19)
In Response to Re: The WSOP 2017 Thread : Morning Cheezy, I might play Event 32, later today, yes. Or, if I can prove I am eligible (not easy) I might even play Event 31. Posted by Tikay10
Updates Event 23 Thirteen players make it to the latter stages of the marathon (think they're just about on The Embankment now) with a player from Venezuela, Joseph Di Rosa Rojas who has the only stack in 8-figure territory.
Tim Reilly and Andrew Jernigan are second and third ahead of Maurice Hawkins and Faraz Jaka who've been up there since very early on.
Pratik Ghatge is the only GB player left and he has the only stack in 6-figures, so he needs some doubling up fairly quick when play restarts.
Event 27 Still very good chanes of a British bracelet in Event 27. Quite appropriate in the 6-Max that is it is Max who is the leader, Londoner Max Silver who leads the player so good they almost named him twice, Morten Mortensen.
And Silver is not the only Brit in good shape amongst the 21 players left, for the beast that is Chris Moorman sits 4th overnight.
Event 28 The FT has been reached with the only previous bracelet winner still in the field, Brendan Taylor as the chip leader.
Low-ball specalist (and German international footballer) Max Kruse is close behind with Brian Brubaker third.
Event 29 The preliminary indication of 239 qualifiers proved to be correct, so we need 66 more bustouts to make the money.
It's one of the numerous Spaniards resident in London, Pablo Fernandez Campo, who holds the Day 1 chip lead, and with Sadan Turker 7th and Niall Murray 8th, Union Jacks pepper the upper reaches of the chip listings.
Ooh, and don't forget Joel Ettedgi 11th, Sam Trickett 28th, Raul Martinez 29th and Romain Lewis 43rd and that's just listing those in the top 50.
Event 30 It's reigning champion Jason Mercier who holds the lead in the 10K Horse, where 57 players held on through day 1.
Plenty of other big names through - Daniel Negreanu (of course), Phil Hellmuth, Mike Sexton, Maria Ho, Brandon Shack-Harris...
A couple of the usual GB names in tournaments like this, Benny Glaser and Stephen Chidwick are through, the latter having a dangerously short stack but Richard Ashby and Adam Owen were among the Day 1 casualties.

Event 23
Thirteen players make it to the latter stages of the marathon (think they're just about on The Embankment now) with a player from Venezuela, Joseph Di Rosa Rojas who has the only stack in 8-figure territory.
Event 27
Still very good chanes of a British bracelet in Event 27.
Event 28
The FT has been reached with the only previous bracelet winner still in the field, Brendan Taylor as the chip leader.
Low-ball specalist (and German international footballer) Max Kruse is close behind with Brian Brubaker third.
Event 29
The preliminary indication of 239 qualifiers proved to be correct, so we need 66 more bustouts to make the money.
Event 30
It's reigning champion Jason Mercier who holds the lead in the 10K Horse, where 57 players held on through day 1.
