Sky poker is a good site. It is not rigged. People who say it is rigged are stupid. The hand histories are saved for ever. It makes no difference to sky who wins it just deals the hands and takes its rake. If you get a run of bad luck tht what it is, luck. If you run good then fair play to you. There are lots of ways to cheat in real life at poker. Online the only possible way to cheat is by colluding with other players. Sky protect us from that. If anyone is playing suspiciously you can get sky to check their hand history with any other players. Please would people who play for a short period of time stop bad mouthing the site. If you lose your money and you had the best hand each time then that is hard luck. Nothing else. Try again and suck it up. It is so wrong to bad mouth a site like these idiots do. It is people doing this that will get poker sites taken off line. Play with money that you can afford to lose. If someone pulls out on you in your car on the way home from work and you crash your car you dont blame the company who made your car. Don't blame sky for the run of the cards. Posted by fi33er

Are you on drugs or brainwashed ? Of course it's rigged take a look at the regular players who are in 6 to 8 tourneys at a time and these players don't lose many. They are called in-house players who play for the site for a cut. Please get real mate and open your eyes.

I was speaking with one of our guests at foodbank last night. He is suffering with both alcohol and heroin addictions, is also a manic schizophrenic and yet he has a better grip on reality than you.
Maybe people should review the software/tech support, like how the tournament loads in late reg youve and your stack lost a blind, like when you move table you cant see your hand especially in o8. How the only place to get any sort of answer to why the client doesnt work anymore and all of a sudden only playing in browser works is by asking a moderator (which is appreciated) on a forum to contact the tech support because they dont have direct communication, you get told theyre fixing it (2014) or creating a new site (2018) and nothing happens.
Seem like more reasonable reasons than all the goofballs whining about rigging and failing to understand variance.
Thankfully those goofballs are abundant which makes it worthwhile playing here, otherwise i feel skypoker would be following pkr

surely cant get your money in good 40 times out of 50 but only holds up around 12. feel its the cash games which is the most rigged probably to do with getting action for rake to increase and I feel certainly favours the reg cash players
In a world where there are some who think COVID is a hoax, we don't need masks, & Bill Gates is up to no good with the vaccine, I suppose we should get used to an extremist minority thinking online poker sites are not straight.

I dont think its a minority. I of course do not believe sky to be rigged or any other major site for that matter. However society as a whole has a very negative attitude towards gambling and if you asked the random man in the street I believe they would believe that sky and any other poker site or gambling site is shady/rigged.
Having wiped the tears from my face laughing at some of the comments on here, I just want to add this.
Sky Poker started in 2007 I believe. They invested in a TV Channel (yes, it cost them for poker knowledgable and experienced TV production staff to run it) which gave the site a USP at the time. Sky Poker was run as any other department/business within Sky. There is also the Sky branded Betting, Casino, Bingo etc.
Sky plc (until 2018 when they were bought out by the American company Comcast for $39 BILLION) ran Sky TV which included all the sport channels, the movie channels and entertainment channels and Sky News. The biggest part of the business was the platform. Sky, the broadcasting platform, that gave third party channels, like Discovery, Eurosport, Disney, BBC, ITV, C4 & C5 Gold, CNN etc the opportunity to broadcast their channels on the same piece of equipment as you had for the Sky wholly owned channels. I'll bet there are around 1000+ channels now available on that bit of kit in your living room plus box sets, on demand and catch up and Apps.
Sky then entered the broadband business, Sky Talk for the landlines and then Sky Mobile. There were around 25,000/30,000+ people employed looking after all these different areas plus the customer service and engineers at the time of the sale. All regulated by the appropriate bodies - FCA, The Gambling Commission, Ofcom etc
So with that multi, multi billion pound business on the line and the reputation of the whole shooting match with broadcasters, movie studios and sports bodies etc from around the world, I can absolutely understand why Sky would fix the river so that somebody playing a low level cash game or a 1k freeroll might win or lose a particular hand - NOT!
Now excuse me whilst I go and wash my eyes from laughing too much.

Maybe they just win or are good at the game?
Regale me with an explanation of this while I'm stuck indoors and there's no games running
Skypoker clearly wanting to favour the regs by rigging against the new blood. Everyone knows that is the best business model

They seem to take a propensity for the percentage favourite, when the money goes, failing to hold as a sign of something sinister.
Surely as poker players with an understanding of variance, we should be more concerned if the best hand, when the money goes in, never lost.
That I feel would be more indicative of a problem.
