Stop winning the 2r every day - it still only counts as 1! :P Wpwp
As I said, been messing around with some sharkscope filters for some lol graphs. They're essentially meaningless because of the miniscule sample size. People used to say that single table sngs needed a 5k game sample to get an idea of roi, so 20 games in mtts means almost nothing. Still fun to look at though for lolz...
33BH: 0 final tables but still making av£20 per game...
Profiting a good amount when you havent had a 1st place is usually a good sign.Without having to play thousands of games to work out your roi in a game i tend to find sharkscoping a view players who you believe are your equal or worse is a good indicator of your potential roi in a tournament.Obviously ones who have a decent sample in the games.
I think anyone who wins in mtts on this site probably has winning stats in the 33bh tbh, and even if its just at a 10% roi thats gonna be earning you a decent enough profit.
Won 7@7 and 11bh since i moved up in stakes.Problem now is nearly all the games i play ive won so progress for me will slow down alot.
Can we agree if we win the sunday £11 major that counts as different to a 11bh and if we get top 3 in the 6.30 freeroll 3 tickets gtd that counts as a win?
**** 7 at 7... took 5 bounties last sunday and still didn't cash it! Still on 0 itm lolz.
Haha is that banter at the fact that I lost HU in the £11 major? Yeah sure feel free to count those ones you mentioned.
Really happy with my game at the moment, however, I only actually manage to play my A game probably less than 10% of the time as I seem to have an absolute boat load of mental game leaks cuasing tilt. By tilt I don't mean spewing off and shoving rags, I mean anything that results in me dropping down to C game or below. There are too many things to focus on at once so for the time being just going to work on these 3:
1) Winner's tilt. Weird one this - when I know I've got a chunk of profit locked up for a session I tend to act like 'job done' and lose focus, which makes no sense whatsoever. Example would be last Sunday. Won the £55bh quite early and then just dropped to C game and autopiloted even though I had other deep runs going.
2) Opponents' mistakes tilt. This is the stupidest one. When I see someone else butcher a hand (not saying I don't make complete butcherings btw!) sometimes it internally frustrates me that they thought a certain way about a range. Makes no sense whatsoever as the obvious thing to do is to exploit that thought process in future!
3) CBA tilt. Usually in lower stakes. I'll join a micro tournament, be in the BB and have 5 limps ahead. Instantly just switch off and don't concentrate in the sense of 'what's the point in typing out proper sizings and constructing ranges when everyone's just limp/calling every hand - can't be bothered.' Pretty lazy this and not the way to approach a game, especially when I need to get in all the micro wins I can for this challenge!!
