Ok so 5 handed in a dym... pilcon is the monster stack and is the sort of player that wants to knock players out and has just min raised UTG, i think his range here is fairly loose... what do i do? im next to act.

Call? call with the plan to check fold if i dont hit top pair or a monster draw leaving myself with 5BB if i miss the flop, but could be outkicked if i do hit top pair.

Fold? fold with such a small stack, shoving in the next decent situation.

Shove? could be ahead of his range but shoving is the same as calling a shove and i wouldnt want to call a shove with KJ if you assume he is calling a shove 100% (which im pretty sure is the case).

btw there are 2 stacks under 10BB and 1 stack with like 13BB, me and the monster stack.

love...a feeling you feel when  you are feeling a feeling you have never felt before...

how confusing do you want to make this hand??? shove..he shoves but...and then maybe...but then....

You are low ,he is high.....KJ suited...shove it and hope,,,,IF YOU WANT TO...depends on his 'range'...FFS!!!!!!

    IMO I fold this.
Calling is wrong, as your calling 16% of your stack to hit a flop that you could be crushed on. Shove is wrong as hes not folding so your effectivly calling. Utg min raise is usually strengh and alot of his range crushes you. Just fold. Find a better spot and try to shove a smaller stack with any 2. GET YOUR CHIPS IN FIRST! Hope that helps.

think you have to call, see flop, take it from there...yes he may be well ahead or even dominating ur KJ,but then again he may not...and if you hit the right flop...happy days.

your so pathetic... how is this trying to be the centre of attention? i wanted help in a difficult situation, i thought this was what the forum was for? Almost no one goes in the poker strategy section of the forum so its pointless posting the hand there. Thanks for your input, keep up the good work going to sky vegas and donking off your bankroll over and over again. And well done on the vote between me and you...
    hope this helps

It's a toughie but I'm leaning towards a fold here. I'd much rather be putting my money in first than dancing to the other guy's tune and, with three other guys in the danger zone, it's better to protect your stack.

Shoving would me my next choice. Flatting? Never ever EVER in this situation.

yea im thinking i should of folded now because if i hit top pair then i could be out kicked so easily, i really dont want to shove because i know hes not folding to my shove and if he shoved UTG i would never call with KJs... so that leaves folding... shame theres no time bank! thanks for your oppinion.

I'm not sure what you should do, but I know what you should NOT do - CALL!

Of the other two options, well it's close, but my default setting in these spots is to get my money in first with ANYTHING, rather than be second to act with a marginal. Let's be right, we do not have the faintest idea how strong the Raiser is, so we are whistling in the dark.

It's a fold for me, but the next open spot I'm jamming with ATC.

I agree - it is a difficult one.

the reason nobody goes to the strategy section is because people like you keep posting it in the general poker part of the forum, which imo should result in a ticking off from the mods or be removed to that part of the forum, you will get your reply's in due course but no you wanted immediate reply's and to be the center of attention all the time as usual, really are laughable!!

on the subject of what you should do here, its an instant fold and why you would even need advice here is just crazy considering your a specialist double your money player. and as for me donking my winnings in vegas, not happened for a long time and am running quite well on the tables, came 2nd in the £300 bounty hunter and cashed in my last 8/9 £11 DYM's roughly.

but if you think your game is better than mine in that format then i will take you on in a money challenge, play say 50 £11 DYM over a couple of week or maybe less and lets see who cashes in the most money?
