David & Victoria Beckham, problems with "Travelers" !
Long been annoying problem in my Borough Travelers having more "Legal Rights" than ordinary tax paying citizens. The Borough Council provided Land Area for them to park when visiting our Town but they soon got fed up with that because they had to keep it clean abide by the rules " Health & Safety" much easier to drive on Park Land where it takes two months to get the Court Order to move them on by that time mountains of dumped rubbish appears we get the clear up bill. You always know when they're coming leaflets through the letterbox to clear your garden rubbish, clean out Roof Gutters, pave the drive give you good price for old Gold.
Their kids run amuck in Town Shopping Center when you ask them to behave you get load of abuse, foul language from kids their Parents even worse threatening Violence.
Have friend who's Community Police Officer told me he would never apprehend any of them because they would tell Social Services he molested them.
So whats to like !
While walking the dog this morning found signs posted round the area stating Council had applied to Law Courts and got new Law's passed by Supreme Court Justice System. Notices prohibiting Travelers from setting up illegal camp sites in the Borough & leaving Dumped Rubbish. If they ignore ruling Council will no-longer need Court approval as already have it, they will now be made to move within 24 hours of arrival failure to do so will result in Vehicles being impounded and fines to clear any rubbish left plus costs to recover their Vehicles & property. Long time coming but common sense has prevailed. Watch with interest first Travelers to be evicted. Sure they will be on their mobiles mustering support from other travelers. OK Coral may follow....... water canon not an option so will test the resolve of the Police & Council to implement ruling.
Played this few times ...... at first it looks like driver pulled out without looking, knife man not happy....... look again, to me knife man was about to rob car driver as he stopped by drivers door, driver realizing whats about to happen pulls out to get away. The Judge felt sorry for knife man because he said, he was victim of attack weeks earlier so was carrying knife for protection. Get dash cam for your car makes sense, get home security cameras, electric fences "Rambo" Patrolling perimeter with AK47
