Thanks Trish, appreciated.
I can't afford to stress myself these days, & I've packed up smoking, too, so I try & keep everything nice & chilled.

That is even better news than the return of the SPT.....
These events always have a good atmosphere. The £220 buy-in is perfect, not too big to put people off and not too small that you won't generate a decent prize-pool.
In Response to Re: The SPT is BACK : Correct. Day 1a, Friday, Day 1b Saturday. Day 2, including the Final, will be on Sunday. Have to say, it's a lovely venue, it really is. Posted by Tikay10
Look forward to meeting up with you and others again over that week-end, and thanks for the mention in your blog, I am honoured.
I'll just have to refuse that $9 Million Hhyfty offered me while I try and qualify.
Q1 Will there be any smaller side events for any of us who don't qualify and can't afford the buy-in, or do qualify and go busto and want to stay and play?
Q2 Will we be allowed to enter the card room if we haven't qualified to rail?

Wondered this myself. Will it be just the £220 BI games or will there be smaller games too and possibly a high roller? Or shudder the thought, maybe a PLO8 game
Even if it is just the £220 BI, it is great to see these back!
This is good news, joined Sky after these had finished.
Really looking forward to this (hopefully diary allows me to partake).
I heard some grumpy Waitrose shopper once won one of these in Birmingham, I assume there is evidence of this somewhere because it seems far fetched.....
