    What are the numbers looking like for the last Day 1? How long has reg got to get there?

    Currently showing 3765, don't know how accurate that is. Late reg until the end of Level 3, so that's 3:10am our time I believe.

    No official indications yet.

    Late Reg lasts until the end of the Dinner Break - 7.10pm (03.10am UK). 

    Plenty of folks still buying in, but no queues now.

    If that's the case, it should easily beat 4,000, & won't be a long way short of 7,000 in total.

    Whatever the number ends up at, that's very encouraging for poker generally.

    Plenty of big names on the featured tables today (of course when ESPN aren't covering it!). As per the WSOP live updates:


    "There are three tables currently featured in the Brasilia room. Jason Mercier and Daniel Negreanu are seated on the main feature.
    Mike Sexton, John Juanda and David Sands occupy one of the secondary features while Mike McDonald and Bertrand Grospellier are together on the other."

    Yes, he's been here throughout.

    He plays cash games at The Rio most nights. 

    Not sure what Tournaments he has played.

    Level 2 just minutes from completion.

    Ambo has a bit above starting.

    I arrived to see him with the Aces & someone re-raised him. 

    Ambo re-popped it & villain folded like a good 'un.

    He has had Aces numerous times, but had to let go a few times.

    Tremendous run of cards for him so far, but a bunch of bad flops hampered progress.

    This was a Tweet before he had the Aces last time I think;

    1. Had Aces again, queens for a change and AK twice more. Lost money over the 4 due to folding AK to a cold 4. Finally got the 4d5d so 48k now.

    WSOP just Tweeted this;

    1. As Day 1C of the Main Event goes on their 2nd break, the combined field is at 7,029 players, 4070 in today's flight.


    There is still 3.5 hours of Late Reg available, so this could end up with 7,100. Fabulous result.

    A break in coverage now, as I need a break to get ready for tonight's "Welcome Drinks" thing at Palazzo with the Little One Drop qualifiers. Three Line Whip, see?
