    Well it's a roll over. Looking at tomorrow's cards, I expect it to be at Chester. (Although by no means is that guaranteed, as Market Rasen does have bigger fields)

    At Chester, the field sizes are not too big, but a lot of the races are quite open and there is no "real" banker.

    Of course that could change if there are lots of non-runners, but at the moment I am leaning towards a NO-GO, however I will take on board people's thoughts/comments.

    Feel free to post here if you have a view on the matter.

    I am toying with the idea of doing the preparation in the morning, when the meeting and early non-runners are known, but only going for it if there are sufficient non-runners.

    At the moment, the total perm size I would want to do is about 1,800 lines = £900.00, which is a bit too much.
     
    However, if non-runners mean I can reduce it to a total of approx. 1,000 lines (£500.00), and still get the same betting percentage coverage, then it could be worth the attempt.

    The down side is that we won't be able to decide until tomorrow, when the "impact" of the non-runners should be more apparent.

    Any thoughts?

    It is at Chester,

    Two Non-Runners in the 4.15 (Gracious John and Perfect Angel) and Porchy Party is a NR in the 4.50.

    I will give it a few hours before prepping spreadsheet to see if there are any more non-runners. (We still lack a firm banker atm)

    So still undecided as to whether it's a GO or not.

    Mr Lupton is now also a Non-Runner in the 4.15.

    I am going to prep the spreadsheet now. It should be ready by 10AM for removers.
