Well not the result we wanted but we will get back £1,495 from the hedging which is a £1,200 profit for the hedge and a net overall profit of £684.00 after taking off the cost of the three perms and the other losing hedge bets.
I will transfer £1,200 to the TOTESPORT account as soon as I receive the funds from B365.
A rollover tomorrow, so I will be taking a look at tomorrow's cards now.

Very very unlucky today Graham, but defo shows the value of HEDGING to get a guaranteed return.... WELL DONE coz I think nearly all of us had removed ATTENTION SEAKER (Tim Easterby is one of the few Northern trainers I normally follow too.... especially sprinters at York)
GOOD LUCK for tomorrow, hopefully I'll be around to help, though I'm not so good on this small meetings Flat malarkey!
I have been out for most of the late afternoon, after leg 3 and have only just picked up on the results. Another very near miss on the jackpot, so unlucky. For what it was worth I would have supported the hedging, which has subsequently turned out be the right move. Well played indeed.
Very well done again to all involved. Yet another near miss. Glad you hedged though Graham. Nice to at least have a small profit. On that subject. Is it possible to pre-authorise an amount that we are happy for Graham to use to hedge at his discretion to avoid the possible problem that could have arisen today if nobody had got back to him in time to agree to it?

If nobody had got back to Graham to agree/disagrre (this will be very unusual), Graham should be the decider ,as he is in the chair.

It will almost always be worth hedging when you get to Leg 6, just to make sure you return a profit with having had the first 5 winners up. I would think the only time you wouldn't hedge is if the worst case scenario Jackpot payout would be £1K or less. But Graham will always know whether it's worth it..... so as Wynne suggests, 'Leave it to the Maths-Meister'

I AGREE, HALF OF US MIGHT WANT TO HEDGE AND HALF MIGHT NOT,I THINK GRAHAM SHOULD GET THE FINAL DECISION, IT WOULD SAVE A LOT OF FANNYING ABOUT WHEN THE RACE IS ABOUT TO GO OFF.

I have laid out a total of £295 (loan of my own money)
This will guarantee us a reasonable profit whatever happens.
The best result by far is for one of out Jackpot horses to win.
BODACIOUS NAME = approx. £6K for us
ITALIAN RIVIERA = approx. £10K for us
ANGEL IN THE SNOW = approx. 14K for us
With £1.5K approx. for the others minus perm costs and hedging.
Now freerolling. GL us!
