In Response to Re: ** JACKPOT SYNDICATE ** GO-LIVE SELECTIONS FOR BRIGHTON ON WEDS 09/08/17 ** : Yeh, was a shame, if we had got to LEG 6, I could have hedged it so we had a minimum £2K profit, not to worry. Hope we miss in LEG 6 now. Good attempt, well played to all involved. I think we can call this one a near miss. Cheers, G Posted by StayOrGo
Overhaugh Street wins the last, which we had in PERM B! If BUMPTIOUS had managed to get even to joint favourite (lower cloth number than FINALE then we'd have scooped the lot.)
So close.
It's a rollover.
Does this mean we have to do it all again tomorrow?
Not sure whether to laugh or cry lol. We got all the tough ones, but just couldn't perm it wide enough due to the competitive races.

The thing is, I put SP FAV for LEG 5 as I thought that BUMPTIOUS may contest favouritism with FINALE and wanted to be on BUMPTIOUS if that happened, there was only a 1/4 pt between them at one stage, 5/2 and 9/4.
