Tables not updated for over two days. I'm not fussed as I'm not in for any high finishes but that is very poor form for those fighting at the top of the tables. Posted by The--Don
I don't believe that is correct - the Promo Page indicated & indicates that they were updated at 5pm yesterday (Saturday) & updated again at 5pm today.
If you look at the Micro Madness Promo Page, HERE and press the "accordion" for each level, you will see it says this:
"Leaderboard last updated 5pm 08/10/17"
It is correct to say that the Accordion Headers still read "Level x Leaderboard as of 9am 6th October", but that's because I assume they were unable to amend the text over the weekend for some reason. Apologies for that. However, the Leaderboards were Updated both yesterday & today by the looks of the "last updated @ ......." comment.
I don't know anyone's totals, so I have no idea if the figures have been correctly updated, but if they were not updated, I'm very surprised that there have not been a whole shed-load of complaints.
My final points tally from micro madness is different to my total number of poker points gained from cash game play over the course of last week. In total I made 2,532 playing mostly 10nl plus a little bit of 4nl. On the leaderboards I have been awarded 2,246 points for 10nl and 148 points for 4nl for a combined total of 2,394 points.
I don't mean to be overly pedantic but these missing points are the difference between a second and a third place finish on the 10nl leaderboard. If anyone could explain this discrepancy I'd really appreciate as I know there were some issues with the leaderboards earlier in the week and I was in a pretty close race at the top of one of them!
You need to finish your sessions before midnight for these points to count in the leaderboard data. They have been carried over to this week. It shows in real time on the my account page but that's the way it is I'm afraid.

The leaderboards were updated every day - on Saturday they were updated late at 18:30ish
If the tables could be updated earlier at the weekend (particularly Sunday) it would allow us to see how we're doing while we still have time to react. I guess the site is busier and there are less staff at the weekend so completely understand that it isn't a priority.
This has been an excellent promo with so many micro tables running, plus great rewards, big thanks to sky for running a promo aimed towards the micro players who are often forgotten.

Thanks for the info James - good to know for future weeks but hugely frustrating. I played through until around 12.20am. Had I have stood up at 11.55 I would have secured second place and made an extra £50 :-(

Just to confirm, & further to my earlier reply, the Micro Madness Leaderboards were Updated on both Saturday & Sunday.

Massive +1 to the update times especially over the weekend. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that it is in SPs interest not to publish the table too early on a weekend, it creates even more action/rake from regs fighting out the top places because we have no idea where we stand.
The fact the T&Cs state that updates will appear no later than 6pm doesn't make it ok. In my opinion, the updates should appear every day before 12pm without fail. It also allows us to do normal things over a weekend, rather than having to plan it around our poker schedules, which I know is very sad!
The promotion is great for grinders who didnt make priority, a disaster for those who just scraped priority and not a lot better for the higher volume priority players. The biggest disappointment of all is those recreational players who only play a few hours a week, have been hung out to dry. The tables have been positively grim this month.

Hi Ace,
"conspiracy theories" indeed.....;)
As chance would have it, I was up in the Office yesterday, & asked around as to how the Uploading of the Leaderboards works. Monday to Friday, it's done by the "full time" Poker Team, usually Mark, Sam or James I think. However, at weekends, it is done by another department, who are part of "Central Management", & they have responsibility for Updating Promos right across SB&G at weekends. As you can imagine, there are, at any one time, a score or more different Promos running across SB&G, most of which contain far more volume than those on Sky Poker. They can't all be updated first.
It'd be great if I could say that in future they will be updated earlier during weekends, but the reality is, I don't think they will, they just don't have the resource to update every Promo during the morning. And so that is exactly WHY the T & C's state "allow up until 6pm".
As to the Promo generally, it has proven to be very popular. I know some of the prio players are not thrilled to bits with it, but I really don't think we should begrudge the smaller players a chance to shine in Promos when circumstances permit.
It's really not possible to please everyone with these things. On balance, & judging by the numbers, I think Sky Poker do a very fine job of them. (Though, of course, I'm biased).

PS - I forgot to add - which was jolly remiss of me - congrats on doing so well in Micro Madness last week. Two cashes - £250 & £15 - was it?

I will add to this that the data needed to publish the leaderboards is not available as early on weekends either. This data comes from our CRM team who as you can imagine have less people working on a weekend. Therefore the production of the data is slower. No angle from our point of view just less people doing the same amount of work on a weekend.

Brilliant, always liked Billy Connelly. On a recent familly holiday, one late drunken night my dad told a great story about him.
Billy Connelly started off as a musician, touring the folk circuit with a chap called Gerry Rafferty and another called Tam Harvey. Together they were known as The Humblebums.
My dad, also a Scottish musician of the same era, bumped into them on a train from Glasgow, both of their home towns, to London.
When I say bumped into, I mean exactly that, Billy and co were at the end of a carriage surrounded by instrument cases and bottles of whiskey. As they were walking past them, the train lurched forward and my dad, all 6ft 6 of him, went flying into their group and knocked over several items, including a bottle of whiskey.
Now, as you know Scots are a fiercesome bad tempered lot at the best of times, but knocking into them and spilling the sacred drink is enough to start a clan war.
And that is what nearly happened, but as luck had it one of my dads group knew one of Billy's group as they both toured the same circuit. So blood loss was avoided, hands were shook and friends were made.
They spent the rest of the train journey drinking the unspilt whiskey and playing music together.

Can someone confirm how the points that are earned on Sunday night are tallied up please? As loads that I earned before midnight on Sunday have been counted as this week?
