Looks like all the Tpers should be banned for multi accouting.  Naughty people!! In seriousness, i am not too sure of the effect of multi accounting.  Say i have two, accounts, which just I play, why is that soo bad?  I think it becomes wrong when other people play on accounts to mix it up as that gives unfair advantage.  Or when people use accounts on the same table.  The classic example of this i guess was ZeeJustin, who was playing two accounts in the same tournament; being the uber good player he is, he ended up on the same table with himself - very lol!  Needless to say he lost all the money in his account at the time, close to 100k i believe! Multi accounting does have a definite advantage in that you can probably attract more players to play you by having diiferent names.  The advantage is for multi accounts sitting waiting for fish and this gives them a higher chance of getting action.  Further many pros use it, so that others dont get too familiar with their game (not sure this affects the fish too much). If sky were to turn around to the top players and say would u like another account, then it would give them a great advantage as it gives them more action.  However, if bad players were to have multi accounts i wouldnt say it would bother me at all.  It just means they can deposit more than the limit on one account in any given day and donate. Its a very interesting subject!! look forward to your views!! XXX

I have an account here and my wife has just opened an account. Separate bank details obviously. We have two laptops but only one IP address so both can't play either together or at the same time on this site (or any other site). Sky are rightly cautious when another account from the same IP address is opened. My wife received a very nice call from Sky, which I'm sure was to satisfy themselves that the 'second' account was genuine. There is nothing untoward or wrong in this and I have made a point of making it known on the forum that elsadog and _woof_ are related. The fact that I may help (debateable) my wife when playing is ok as far as I can see. Any player on Sky could have half a dozen professionals sat advising them when they play for all we know. By only using a single IP address collusion is not an issue. Multi-accounts when intended to deceive are wrong, enabling one's partner to also participate in Sky poker is, as far as I know, both legal and above board.

All other sites that I know of don't allow multiple users of the same IP address on at the same time. I've never tried it on Sky so can't comment, but I'm stunned if they allow it.

but surely after awhile if you had a new account "pokerx" for example, you would soon be a "new" player to avoid?
i personally dont see a problem with multi accounts unlees they are used to cheat

I believe that you are allowed to play the multi tables, but not cash or Stt. and sky tv had a husband / wife on once as the home player i seem to recall

You could always let people change their names every so often so you have to work out who is who :-)
