Afternoon all.
A little later than hoped, but we are up & running now.
A few notes & comments will follow, whilst we all get used to our new toy.
However, the new Forum is now officially Open For Business, but please be patient, as we've still got the builders in.
Comments
First up, as you can see, we still have some work to do to re-organise the Boards generally.
This will happen over the coming days & weeks, & in the fullness of time it'll all be hunky-dory.
As ever, your feedback, comments & suggestions - constructive - are always welcome.
I did notice that the first 3 months of the TPT Thread seems to be missing, but that was from 8 years ago, so I don't think we need to lose too much sleep over that.
Rather oddly, the Feedback, Comments & Questions Thread which I started last Thursday has failed to make the journey across. I don't quite know why, but I'm not sure it matters too much.
The main thing is the vast majority of everyone's posts made it across, including two rather coarse ones which tested the profanity filter & found it somewhat wanting.
One of the first jobs will be to merge the various Strategy Boards (Cash, MTT & SNG) into a single Board. It just makes no sense at present to have them separate.
That will be followed by generally re-organising where everything sits, as currently, it does not look right to me. For instance, Poker Chat should be at the top, above Poker Clinic stuff, & so on.
I can actually make these changes myself - well in theory. I just have to learn what buttons to press. And what ones not to press. So if the whole thing suddenly disappears, you'll know who to blame.
If you mean Feedback Board, yes, but that does not seem to include last week's new Thread.
One small niggle I have spotted is that the time shown of posts being made seems to be out by an hour - the clock attached to the forum seems to be an hour slow.
This is what I see;

Ignore my post above. All seems to be correct on the time front now.
We left that there deliberately. We don't like to see language like that, but sometimes it's better to let everyone see who is saying what.
And, to be honest, knowing the answer to "it's rigged, but I've stayed here 8 years" is like the Holy Grail to me. Why would you stay for 8 years if you thought it was not tickity-boo?
2 Niggles (sorry). on old forum I could find the last post I had read in a long thread by clicking on the replies column. This does not appear to be the case now. Also when I click to read a new thread it takes me to the second post.
I have tried clicking on the time of the last post on the home page but the thread keeps opening on the first post.
