Needs blinkers to keep his mind on the job & help him ignore possible tilt. If he can ignore distractions & forget about what can't be changed, he could win this. Lively outsider.

What's this you say forget about mr TK and his unchangable respect helpfulness and i'm a useless useless outsider?

Without my glasses I can't see, should have gone to specsavers I guess

Good luck with this tonight guys. Well done with the League too.
Any chance of any PLO tournaments/promotions in 2018? It has been another year where this format has gone on the decline. Maybe Markynevercash could work his magic and moan in something for the PLO game.

My bet tonight will be an outsider will win (prob from the holdem world where the better players are found). It should hopefully make its guarantee though and I hope it finds a regular spot on the schedule.

    Good man.

If only you had declared earlier, I could have abused you exactly as I abused everyone wlse.

Good luck Danny. I expect a Final Table from you. Maybe not this one though.......

If these keep running any chance there could some sats or even some £12 s&gs 2seats paid somthing like that.£33 is a big jump from the usual 5.50games that are on

Understood Brian, but there is a lot of pressure on the satellite lobby on a Sunday evening, as they prioritise stuff like the Sunday Major. The Business are always going to give priority to a £15,000 event over a £500 event I would imagine.

You can always play a few PLO8 DYM's - I'll be online playing a session within the hour. Valoooooooo.

Yeah, 26 runners in the end and a £780 prizepool.

Thought we might have got even more TBH. Guarantee was hit before the first hand was completed.

I remember when the 8:30pm £5.50 was introduced. I thought it would do well off the bat then dip a little but it was the other way around. Once players got used to it, it done better. Hopefully this one can do the same.

    Decent first showing.

Looking forward to getting my toes wet next Sunday :)

Don't think you can reproach yourself for that, the hand played itself, and I marginally prefer your hand actually.

    Unlucky bud.

26 runners then. That's WAY over the Guarantee, though, to be honest, slightly less than I hoped for.

Anyway, should be enough to ensure it runs again next Sunday, & if everyone makes the effort to rev it up again, you never know, it might go on to become a fixture.

Well done to MarkyDroneOn&On&On for all his persistence in pushing for this.

    Result?

    1st - loololollo

    2nd - chicknmelt

    3rd - HENDRIK62

    4th - sweet420

The top two are well established & extremely good NLH players. Amazing how these guys tablecraft enables them to win at any format, even against experienced PLO8 players.

The surprise package was HENDRIK, who finished 3rd.

Seems like he was having a rare good day, but let's not begrudge him his moment of glory.

Interviewed afterwards, he said "sigh, aye, of course".

I was rather rude to Essexphil in my form guide, so it would be remiss of me not to highlight his splendid performance, in which he so nearly made the Final Table, or would have done if it had 21 seats.
  • Itsover4uItsover4u Member Posts: 1,538
Was a really fun tourney hope it gets supported I will certainly try to play when I can. Managed to steal a few bounty’s so only lost a minimal amount for a decent amount of fun!

Had one of those Sundays that make you question your sanity :)

However, this one was the sort of hand that both players should shove pre-, and was a flip. Can't escape those...onward and upward

I believe Melty has played nearly 200 PLO8 MTTs so has a reasonable amount of experience at the game.
