@Tikay10 Thanks for the positive comments! Also yes I'm a bit gutted that I opted in late, I think I could have made top 10 with the volume but still 3 more weeks to go I suppose
I've actually edited my first update for 1st - 5th as I've played today, changing the results for 6th Jan. I'll update later tonight
@Jac35 I haven't really given enough thought into what's a good ROI yet since I was 10 tabling the majority of the first 500 games. I didn't know 4%+ was as good as you say so fingers crossed I can keep that up then!
Yeah it’s very good at regular dyms let alone turbos Keep going. Oh, by the way, I’d appreciate it if you don’t bother coming across to the regular dyms!
Implicity has been my screen name for online gaming and things (Runescape, Xbox gamertag, League of Legends and now poker) for about 13 or 14 years now. I had no idea what implicit meant at the time but it's stuck with me since.

After playing quite solid on Saturday, I played my B- game for the majority of Sunday which I'm not too happy about, but I wanted to get volume in for the Pentagon, hopefully I can squeeze into the top 50 this week!
Games were very reggy at times and I should have stayed out of the 11's because I ended up -£114 in 94 £11 DYMs but +£108 in 184 £5.50 DYMs..
Giraffe..
Winnings up to Jan 7th +£282 Points 7150 (£143)
I'll be aiming for a top 5 spot in the Pentagon next week but with a few people moving from Blue to Red league I may not have much of a chance, but we'll see!
Had a note that bb does this sort of play bvb so thought it'd be ok even at bb50
Well it's been a couple of weeks and it's been eventful to say the least. With work so busy (preparing for the annual Audit next month) I've been coming home pretty tired and not wanting to put long sessions in. When I did play, I was rarely playing at my best and to couple it with running terrible in all-in situations in the turbo DYM's, I found myself being stuck £375 in just over 500 games. I've played 400 more since for a total of 900 games in this period, getting back some of that money lost!
SNG graph
While I was donating my roll in DYM's I had to try some different format of poker, or else I'd probably lose my mind.. Credit to those who grind DYM's day in and day out, Vlalilia, Beeboy, BigFatFish, Mondo, Timmy (sorry to anyone I've missed) - it is very tough to put that sort of volume in each and every day. I wish I had the same levels of focus in these games but I'm not quite there yet!
So, on to MTT's... No antes is something that I'm still adjusting to but I love 6-max and bounty hunters are addictive! Highlights was coming 2nd in a £2.20 £300 rebuy while on my iPad, then 2nd in the 7@7 BH in the same night, and then 2nd again the next evening in a £5.50 £500 BH. I couldn't close any of them out HU but they were so much fun. DYM experience certainly helped when stacks got shorter and when work is a little less stressful I'll be playing more of these for sure!
Just wanted to say it was a pleasure to share a few tables with you yesterday.
Be even nicer if you did not keep pounding my BB. I gotta warn you - keep doing that, & I'll draw a line in the sand, & call you super wide - one chap jammed on me & I hero'd him with Q-Q. I HAVE NO FEAR.

Take that as a compliment - I only do it to friends.
I have no idea why it is, but when we play against friends, we play differently, & do things which, quite often, don't make sense, & have no logic. Why is that, I wonder?
Also in the mix is revenge & a degree of bitterness over past battles lost, of course.
I'm still seething - fumming even - that you called me with just J-J in that cash game at Newcastle recently. Not that I'm bitter, oh no.

*ahem* I think it was you that was showing no mercy on my big blind! This could have been a big pot...
They say a sharkscope graph tells a thousand words. Hmm not sure I'll be using that line again..
I played so so poorly in the first couple of days! I can't believe why I kept going because I was getting punished all the way from 2.2's up to the 22's. Still a lot to work on with managing tilt but I spent a couple of hours studying and certainly saw the improvement in the last few days.
With an average stake of £4.87 my low point at minus £224 saw me down 46 average buy-ins... ouch. I made several comebacks which were all too short lived but something clicked on Tuesday 30th (around game 850) and I ended the month feeling very positive - only down £19.60 after that rough start feels like winning in my book.
I think it would be good to set some targets so I'll try to set both life and poker related goals each month!
February goals 2k DYM's / 10k points / maintain priority Satellite into SPT Manchester Walk the dog at least 2 hours every day Study poker at least 6 hours each week (includes videos so should be achievable)
Also as mentioned above I'll be trying to Satty into SPT Manchester - but if I have a decent first week at the tables I'll probably flick in anyway. It's a long drive up from the New Forest but I can't see myself waiting for Brighton (closest SPT to me) to come along. For anyone that has been before, have I left it a bit late to book accommodation on the cheap?

When we emerge from a period in the doldrums, it feels great, doesn't it? Well done.

Keep going. Oh, by the way, I’d appreciate it if you don’t bother coming across to the regular dyms!
I looked at the Red League, & as of Midnight Friday, after only a day or two, you were already in 77th place. (50 places paid).

You can see the League here;

At that rate, I'd be pretty sure you will sneak into the paid places (top 50) by close of play on Sunday.
Next week? If you continue at that rate, I reckon you'd be inside the top 10 or 15.

Not as eagerly as me, after yesterday's kerfuffle......;)

Going along nicely judging by those numbers.

What a difference this makes, too;
Pentagon +£65
Points 4930 (+£97.60)
£160+ makes all the difference at our stakes.
Well done, & good luck with the February targets.
