Forum Navigation - "Discussions"

I was a little surprised to read yesterday that some players - admittedly, some of them new here - were not aware of a different way of navigating & viewing the Forum.

Just above the white section of the Forum in the blue area you will see "Discussions".

If you click that, instead of seeing all the separate boards, you will see ALL posts in "latest time" order, latest at the top.

It's far quicker & easier than looking through all the different boards.

Apologies for the poor picture quality, but you'll see something like this;

    I always use the discussions section, very good option that.

    Whilst the skypoker blog competition is a great section of the forum, is anything going to be done to remove the redundant sections?

    Good question, I had intended to have a bit of a clear out but it slipped my mind. I'll have a gander later this morning.

    Oddly, as a Mod, I see the Forum differently, as I can see 36 different Boards - every Board that has ever existed on the Forum is still visible to me, but as I always use the discussions Tab, so for the most part, in reality I only see the latest posts. You'd see the same if you used Discussions.

    I'll Log Out in a bit so that I see all the "dead" Boards, then have a bit of a cull as soon as time permits.

    While you are at it could your current UKOPS blogs be in the UKOPS news section rather than ones from a previous UKOPS? They must take a fair bit of time to do and the forum loves them so they should have pride of place.

    I don't have the keys to the UKOPS News section I'm afraid, & have no abilities or posting rights there.

    If I did, trust me, I'd do general Poker News pieces from the UK & wider as well as little poker general interest stories every week, maybe more often. I can't access that section any more though - when the new Forum was introduced, it separated the Forum from the Blog & News section, sadly.

    OK, if you want to reply on an existing THREAD, you should see this on most tablets;

    Apparently, even @Sky_SamT never knew either, so you are in good company. *

    * Depends on definition of "good" I suppose.

    Seems the thread has been worthwhile, so the Forum has had a good day. Ish.

    @TheMadMonk There might be a button top left of the forum page which is like 3 small horizontal lines stacked on top of each other - click that and you might be able to find the discussions page (its like that on phone anyway)

    "Discussions".

    Maybe "Latest Discussions" would be a better heading?

    I also never noticed it.........
