    just watched first race and Im thinking Anna Jameela is going so well how did she not win , then she broke down on bend, not my lucky day

    You are still having a better day than Mr Wynne. He has gone Chepstow for the day and the meeting has been abandoned after the 2nd race. :(

    I was watching At The Races, and it looks like the ground looked too dangerous to ride on. They showed Franny Norton picking up a lump of turf by hand and shaking his head. A big pow wow went on, then they decided to call it off. Problems with the stalls at Southwell now too. Numbers 1 (Handsome dude) & 2 didnt 'open' properly in that last race.

    As to Chepstow they had similar trouble in other years due to crane fly larvae which caused the ground to break up, they will be having kittens if same problem again.
