Stuck £20 on u44.0 for the Ravens/Bengals Thursday night game. Managed to get Evens on Betfair Sportsbook. (Sky + several others are Evens u43.5, I'd probs still take that although the push with exactly 44 points is nice to have covered)
So what's wrong with u43.5 and u44? IMO it comes down to the fact that both teams put up points (47 and 34 respectively) against poor teams in week 1, and I think everyone's overestimated the line by a couple of points this week as a result.
I'm a relative novice when it comes to the detail around the NFL, so the more in depth analysis is greatly appreciated @EvilPingu
My mum's sister moved to Boston over 50 years ago, so I have always followed the Patriots and the Red Sox along with my American cousins.
Other than watching a few London games live, my only other regular season game was the 49ers v Panthers at Levi's Stadium last year. It was pre Garoppolo though so wasn't much of a contest. Great experience though.
We thought we had been clever securing tickets for the last pre season game between the Giants and the Patriots at the Met Life stadium a couple of weeks ago for £30 a pop. We soon found out that these final games are just for the fringe players, and to get the roster down from around 90 players. Was fun all the same.
My pre season bets are; The Jaguars at 20/1. Been impressed every time I've seen Bortles, and looked strong last season. Not long until they become the London franchise too surely. The Texans at 25/1 after a chat with a very knowledgeable American on a poker table at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City last week. None of which I can recall very much of, as the cocktail waitress was superb.

Have joined you on the unders @ Evens for a modest amount. Good luck.
I'm involved in a modest NFL syndicate which still had some money left in a Sky Bet account from last year. We take it in turns to spend a tenner each week.
This weeks selections are,
Jets -3 v Dolphins @ 10/11 Browns +8.5 v Saints @ 10/11 Eagles -3 v Buccaneers @ 5/6
What's the low-down on this Ryan Fitzpatrick fella at the Bucs, a two game wonder or the real deal? I thought it was Conor McGregor when I first saw the photo.
Also, the Cleveland Browns won their first match since Christmas eve 2016. The Buffalo Bills were around +16.5 on the handicap and beat the Vikings by 21 points. Drew Brees became the "passing most" quarter back in NFL history, surpassing Bret Favre's total of 6326. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes beat Peyton Manning's record by throwing 13 touchdowns in the first three weeks of the season.
Oh, and the new coach of the Patriots' conquerors, the Detroit Lions?
Matt Patricia, who spent 5 years, and many coaching sessions, trying to stop Tom Brady, as the defensive coordinator at the Patriots.
Sad to see Garropalo get season ending injury. Talk about Kapernick returning to the 49ers which would be headline news, and also talk ofTyrod Taylor moving from Cleveland freeing up Baker Mayfield to be starting QB at the Browns.

Gutted for Garoppolo. I'd be amazed to see any NFL team bring back Kaepernick at this point though, especially while he's still got that collusion case against the NFL.
I'd be surprised if Tyrod Taylor goes anywhere before the end of this season - Cleveland will still benefit from having a veteran QB behind Baker Mayfield, plus he's still probably a top 5 backup in the league if Mayfield gets hurt.
Jameis Winston back in for Tampa Bay after being 38-3 down at HT against the Bears Meanwhile the 3-0 Dolphins seem to have reverted to type, being completely hopeless on offense against the Patriots.
heres a trio of upset specials this weekend da bears to beat the dolphins tannehill ll be wearing brown underpants after this lol the browns to win again home advantage in a squeaker and last but not least the broncos to knock off the rams in a tight 1 yes its true its **** true
Sry couldn,t resist .Just something i,ve never got into.
I will watch for tonight tho and see what all the fuss is about. I do have distant relatives from Seattle so might do a bet around them winning - Who,s your pound on Tikay?
ps - i thought with it raining and been slippy they might not score as many goals/touchdowns but i,m sure the bookies have already factored that into there prices

Best to ask @EvilPingu but if I were betting I'd take the Overs. You want the line to be no more than 50.5 though.
Rain is not a problem, it's wind that lowers the scoring probability, & the Raiders have a shocking defence.

This week: Bengals win 34-23
^^^^
I might add I'm on the Bengals for AFC North @ 10/1.
They've not been totally convincing in their 2 games, very hot & cold, but I'll take 2 out of 2.

The New England Patriots lost back-to-back games by double-digits for the first time since December 2002 - a run of 244 games

I think the £10 worth of request a bets to get a £5 free bet offers are great value.
+EV just by betting the odds.
First time I tried I had an even and just over even bet on and freerolled a long shot with the free bet and only the evens bet came in for breakeven.
Second time I put 4 smaller bets on and the free £5 went on an odds boost to 6/1 and all of them came in (happy days).
Probably jinxed tonights attempt now though.
Got a £10 free bet to use on NFL so thought i,d stick it on the Seattle game as its live on Sky from Wembley.
Only thing is i haven,t got a clue about American rugby.
Any tips plz?
