Can someone tell me what happens next.I won entry to SPT Glasgow.So do I expect an email or a notification of some sort to prove I won entry. I mean I can't just turn up on the day and say you're not getting £220 from me now can I.?

They will email you. Also, you can see your name in the "SPT-1 seat qualifiers" in the Sky Poker Client.
As I don't see an option to register for a specific day I plan to turn up and play on Saturday. What would happen if the majority of qaulifiers did this and there weren't enough seats available?

We tend to get bigger fields on the Friday actually, as many players like to play both day 1's, but as long as you don't turn up at the last minute, you will be fine.
It is likely - but not 100% certain - that direct buy-in on Sky Poker will be available from Monday (tomorrow) for a few days. If so, I will let you know on this thread.
Either way, yes, you will be able to buy-in at the venue on Saturday.
It solved a mystery, too. Several people asked me if DBI was available, I watched the lobby all day yesterday & none of them registered, so I was a bit perplexed. Mystery solved.
I've reported it to the Office, & I expect they will sort it PDQ.
I'll let you know on this thread when it's sorted.
And @minty11 , & him alone, will know exactly what this is.....
The alea glasgow facebook page event says that direct buyin through the sky poker site is unavailable. I was going to register through the site, will i have any problems when i turn up to the alea Tommorow? Will there be someone that can check i have bought in?

You'll get cash games running all weekend though.
No, as @BlairReid, "just" the Main Event, there are rarely enough tables or room for Sideys.
There are always cash games though, NLH for sure & sometimes PLO.

You will get an e-Mail in due course from Sky Poker, but all you need to do is turn up on the day with credible ID & you'll be good to go.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Look forward to meeting you.

Direct buy-in is now available on Sky Poker, here's the link to the Lobby;

Just tried the Direct Buy-In in the Tournament lobby, doesn’t seem to be working yet, is there a problem
You are absolutely correct, apologies.

@minty11
That problem is sorted now.
Apologies again.
