Think @kapowblamz and I have played enough spin ups to know that at these stack depths this would be a fairly standard call down spot vs an unknown. But the unknowns at spins are more ready to gamble and ready to bluff then your average MTT unknown. So it is a much different situation even if the effective stacks would be the same and is probably why I chose to call down in the moment without a time bank. Villain had AJ so actually played his hand very reasonably, pretty much one hand he could have that makes absolute sense as a bet bet shove, which did feel better to see in the moment than say A5o. On the turn I consciously thought calling KJ would be a very slightly better bluffcatcher than some other hands because makes it harder for him to hold Ace Jack which makes the most sense for him to have.

I actually think the turn is a fold as played, I think I made a mistake here because it would be a call-down in the games I normally play. One of the reasons I check the flop is to induce random stabs, and as Ax is over-represented in his pre-flop range (your average unknown player continues pre with too many weak aces that should fold) gonna also be over-represented in his stabbing range. Chip preservation and edge on the field mean these marginal spots should be a fold without any major gut instincts. Am happy with how I played it till then, and much prefer a flop check to flop bet. Poker is but a game of opinions, so It's quite good to have a few different viewpoints in the thread, all with different thought processes.
What can i say ha ha its not going the way i hoped. Im not gonna sit here and morn about bad beats etc. But some of run outs have been rid. will post one or 2 below. But game on today day 5 220/110 tonight so 1 gd win and its game on.

Bad night for me. Played really well in the main tonight just to absolutely butcher a hand on the final table bubble for about a quarter of the chips in play. Fired 3 bullets in the £220 and did not go too well. Will put out my mind the horrendous hand I played and start fresh tomorrow.

Wee what a difference a day makes after my post yesterday about running bad things changed last night manged to run like god and win 220 HR comp. Its a strange old game. I believe this is my biggest win on sky 100% the tough filled i beat with players such as xlee shakio baz morris and many many others. Would like to thank everyone for rail awesome u all legends felt abit sry for rainy555 99.99% of rail wanted me to win . ps was good to see sky do a none bounty comp. And to smash the guarantee.

Got 4 points, including 3 in the hi lo which i personally love. Probably made some pretty bad ICM decisions on ft going for win rather than points ladder. £4.6k behind in profit but think we are now dead even on points. If Chris starts bricking some days and I have a couple of wins it could start getting a bit more of a contest on the profit front, although I wouldn't hold my breath on that. All to play for in points though.
