Starting with some of the more popular MTT’s, the Main was won by @chicknmelt who is a huge winner here at Sky Poker. Good looking boy, too, seen here mixing it with the big boys in a Sky Poker UKPC.
Other regulars in the money included @Froozle@Arrogant 4th & @spitfire10 5th, whilst the Welsh octogenarian @HAYSIE argued his way into 11th place, with @jubb in 24th.
In the Mini, was good to see loyal Sky Poker veteran @kidgrimsby run into 9th place, just ahead of @rainman215 & @Tsaaaar, whilst jubb, 24th in the Main, had another deep run in 20th.
The big-buck late-nighter, the £55 Quickdraw at 22.30 went to @Froozle for his 2nd big cash of the evening, with usual suspects @GFKIJKLL 6th, whilst the triumvirate of @chicknmelt@Mattbates & @SUPERSNEDD finished in a bunch in 12th – 14th. @BlairReid, who I had the pleasure of meeting at SPT Glasgow, was 17th just ahead of @Scotty77
Meanwhile, away from Poker, Arsenal's astonishing run continued as they battered Leicester City 3-1 to make it 10 straight wins, with their third goal being an absolute all-the-way-from-back-to-front-team goal purler.
Ozil was Man of the Match, though I thought Iwobi probably shaded it.
Further afield, the world's longest bridge was opened, between Macau & Hong Kong.
It's said to be 34 miles long, which is quite something, or it would be if true, but that's a bit misleading. It's actually a series of bridges, viaducts & a tunnel between 2 artificial islands, but mightily impressive all the same.
Fun idea. Somewhat off-topic but in terms of whether enough people read things to make them worthwhile, think a LOT of people read the UKOPS blogs but don't necessarily comment. Think most would agree that they are superb and would love to see them this time around too! I actually play more events than I otherwise would for the chance of sneaking into the blogs ha!

Very true about those that lurk but not post. It's the way of things these days, folks want to read stuff but don't really want to post, which I completely get, & don't mind at all. I only get cross when folks come on here from time to time & bemoan the quality of Forum content but never bother to produce any themselves, which always strikes me as a bit rich.
UKOPS blogs? Well I hope to try & do them again, yes. The new GDPR legislation is a right spanner in the works though, & has to all intents & purposes ruined Sharky as a point of reference, so it's tough to get much history behind the aliases. Anyway, let's see, I'll deffo try it for a few days & see how it pans out & if it gets reasonable number of views. I'm not too fussed at lack of replies, the view count is more important.
Sadly, we don't have a proper Blog facility on here these days, which is a bit annoying, as I could write blogs pretty much every day. Some of them may even be mildly interesting.
GL in UKOPs mate, & thank you for the kind words/smoke up my back passage. (Delete as applic).
The two Manchester Clubs are in action tonight in the CL, United at home to Ronaldo's Juventus, & City away to Shakhtar Donetsk whoever they are.
House points if you can predict the correct score in both those games, plus tell me where Shakhtar Donetsk is, & something about their country.
That's it for today, we might do it again tomorrow if it gets views, if it does not, fair enough.
Shakhtar are from Donetsk in the Ukraine. A little thing happened there a few years ago, somewhere near Kiev at Chernobyl. Caused a few headaches methinks
By way of a random thought - might try one per day, I certainly have enough of them - anyone know what this means?
"Serious? !!"
Can anyone explain to me what a question mark followed by a space & then 2 exclamation marks means exactly? I see a lot of it, & it always puzzles me. Does it annoy me? Oh no, not at all, not one bit.

Good enough for me.
A few headaches must arise if a club from the Ukraine is drawn to play one of the Moscow clubs too, presumably?
I think you should put a deliberate typo/grammatical error in each day, just to keep us on our toes.

I've spotted the first one (won?) Do I win anything?

Aarrggh.
You win the satisfaction that I shall be cross with myself all day for that ridic error.
Talking of grammatical stuff which annoys me FAR more than it should.....
"They should of won" & I should of known" drives me insane.
I'm not 100% sure but I think that clubs from Ukraine and Russia, as with clubs from same country, were kept apart in the draw for the first time this year due to said headaches
As of 2018, the average monthly salary in the Ukraine is $320. This is why you see so many Ukrainian poker grinders putting in huge volume/hours at the lowest stakes online - you can legitimately be a poker professional poker player there whilst only making a fraction of what would be considered a liveable wage in a western economy. This is the biggest reason why I hope Sky continues as a UK only site

I've no idea, but yes, that's possibly true.
Perhaps some knowledgeable football fans can enlighten us, failing that @Jac35@hhyftrftdr or even, at a stretch @Sky_SamT

If that is true, then learning that has made the whole thread worthwhile.
Sky Poker remaining UK & RoI only? I think that's almost a certainty.

The 9pm £55 Sheriff went to @monopolyyy , hotly pursued by hotpots @loololollo @MattBates @SUPERSNEDD & @GFKIJKLL in 2nd to 5th respectively. 7th was @lundie , 9th was Edinburgh’s @glencoelad with @jubb running deep yet again.

They now sit 4th in the EPL.

Meanwhile, Brexit negotiations dragged on. And on. And on. Reminds me of @HAYSIE.
And finally.....

oioi, well done Alan, & if folks want to mention their successes (or failures) itt all the better.
