    Great write up, thank you.

Appreciate the mention, I have to admit to running pretty well in both tournaments I cashed in, all the way to the final table I was hitting every flop I played, even when all in with A 10 v KK on a K high flop I managed to win that one.

Lady ( Lord ?) variance caught up with me heads up when I put my opponent all in, he had 99 V my A2, 22x flop seemed to be ok 😊, the 9 river not so much lol.,

Keep up the good work Mr.K and have a splendid weekend.

Echo previous sentiments about Glenn Hoddle and Leicester Helicopter crash, so sad.

Great write ups Tikay and I'm glad I could give you an excuse to bring one of our favorite subjects into the report.

Just to show that I do read the complete thread, could I say unlike that Maxally bloke, I spotted the 'deliberate mistake', the golfing reference was to Payne Stewart but the photo is of Stuart Appleby

    Hi @eddie18

I would assume it's been cancelled due to UKOPS.

Getting better (apart from some dodgy pictures).

Is there a mini UKOPS following on from this btw?

    Payne Stewart is the golfer.

Horrible news from Leicester. Puts all football results and rivalries into perspective.

    Hi Alan,

Not that I am aware of. If there is, I must have either been asleep when they told me, or have forgotten. Either is entirely possible.

    Noooooo. Oh my, how embarrassing.

Even after looking again, it's still hard to tell the difference. But I have no doubt you are correct.

    ^^^^^^^

    Thanks @Allan23.

Am I having a bad day, or what?

Think I'd best go to bed & forget today happened. Should be easy enough, I'm able to forget most things.

That aside, that's great news of course.

I did spend a little time back and forward with that guy...basically I typed a Tweet along the lines of just going to play UKOPS and hopefully I'll win it and he felt the need to immediately suggest that Sky Poker, part of a company who recently were valued at over £3bn were rigging the RNG to help me come 3rd in a UKOPS. He then went on to tell me a very interesting story where he apparently flopped quads and someone got a royal in a tournament hand on Sky that he'll never forget. Sometimes I don't reply to things like this but it basically is damaging to my reputation and to that of Sky Poker as well as being hugely tedious and unfunny and the fact he included three lols made me reply. I suggested that he really did need to forget and to put that energy into improving at poker.

He stated that he almost never played online poker. A quick glance on his timeline and I found him complaining about the software at various sites half a dozen times in the last couple of weeks.

I pointed out that if he kept making posts like this at 10pm on a Saturday night he really ought to take the "live life to the full" off his Twitter profile.

    It amused me.

    UKOPS 12, £22 entry, £2,000 Hyper BH

    oioi, guess who won this?

    image

Yup, it's @StayOrGo , who at last got his head in front of the battle with his lad, George. Well done Graham, that must have tasted sweet.

    @POKEY2011 was 3rd, with horse-racing fan @wynne1938 4th.

@SUPERSNEDD was 8th, his turn will come, for sure.

Quite a story behind the chap in 24th, @JBieber . I have a hunch he might have had a drink or two judging by the thread he started last night.

Justin Bieber drunk? Never gonna happen.

Yeh got very lucky in this one. Ran so well on FT. Enjoying the battle with son George, tough to keep up with him nowadays tbh.

Thanks for great updates and kind words.

Did he start playing poker because you did? Did you help him at all when he was learning?

    Hi Kobayashi.

    Yes to both of those.

Spent a lot of time "teaching him the game", writing strategy notes for him etc, now he helps me lol. In the good old days, we'd watch SKY POKER TV together and discuss what the analysts were saying. TK was always going on about not limping, which is why his alias is "LIMP2LOSE".

Even when he was a kid, like 9 years old, we'd play card games like, crib, black widow, nomination trumps, etc. I guess cards is in the family. My Dad never really played Poker but he taught me and my brothers and sisters card games at a very young age and I did the same with Gary.

    Cheers,

    G

    Hi Stayorgo,

I thought that was probably the way. It’s good now that he can teach you a few things too. As things change over time. ( no offence ) :)

My children see me play poker sometimes, I wonder if they will grow up and play poker when they older at all. We shall see :) thanks for replying. Goodluck in the rest of the UKOPS
