    The origin of the word dates to pre medeival times when a cnt was the generic term for an empty vessel such as a jug, vase,drinking cup or even a gourd / barrel.

    Imagine walking into a Weatherspoons putting your tankard on the bar and asking the server to fill your cnt.

    Go on you know you want to.

    Happy drinking

    Reminds me of the old joke..(short version)

    Posh couple go to a bar, husband goes to the toilet, drunk goes up to wife and says he'd like to turn her upside down, fill her cnt(normally **** but lets keep it topical) full of beer and drink it....bouncers @TheEdge949 throw the drunk out, woman in distress, husband wants to find the guy and kill him...wife explains what the drunk said and husband put his jacket back on and said

    " I'm not gonna fight a guy who can drink that much beer..." ( I won't give up my day job..)

    Guvnor, it is Poker on point!

    In French, je ne sais quoi literally means "I don't know what." The phrase.. je ne sais quoi also describes something that's hard to put into words.

    Defacto, je ne sais quoi, @misterpj just got called? a…MUPPET, just like that! Out of the blue, s.h.o.c.k.i.n.g ‘inn’it’, would have preferered, I’ll be seeing you, next Tuesday!

    Especially, as it came from a long term winning 'reg' (who I have not ever discussed Poker with, or would wish to) just happens to be, one of the ‘the luckiest’ players I have ever seen at a Poker table, over a very long period of time,and in my opinion,not the Gary Player version of lucky.

    Anyway, in response to this hand,today,an M.T.T, an hour twenty deep, upon the following hand being my exit hand, and after calling this players 14,100 all in post flop shove, I was christened MUPPET; the only retort I could think of, was are you looking in a mirror.

    No Tony, I do not want, (a) sympathy, never have (b) attention (no need, not required in my life) (c) ‘poker help’! coaching !! Are you kidding me?
    It might be nice, just once in a while, in a key pot, having called off the shove, as an 82% chance, that 82 times out of 100, I hold up? Any chance?
    Anyway, happy 1st July 2019, stateside is Independence Day Thursday, be safe, good, lucky.

    Attention, sympathy……needed a good laugh……….Poker (bring it on)

    Best player, by a distance, down in the shallow end, never met him-her, highly unlikely to ever meet, probably a 35 year age difference, but if I was going to bankroll, one player, (massive ) are you reading Matt ? I am convinced Myna ‘F’ would smash it at a higher level.

    Double entendre; noun: double entendre; plural noun: double a word or phrase open to two interpretations? One of which is usually risqué or indecent.

    Does. M.U.P.P.E.T. and M.U.G., qualify? , in the space of hours, in back to back multi table tournament’s? as I was christened.... kinda resonates !

    In fact, I apply to go; do I need @skypoker deed poll?

    @misterpj wishes to go too;

    MrmuppetPmugJ (tis 12 letters) but always a way!

    It resonates, don’t it

    Had a look, at my skypoker account

    It tells me, the following, from Monday July 1st, 08.30 a.m. (in anticipation, of a ‘hair splitter or three’ 08.30.08 a.m.) until 14.31 p.m. (in anticipation, of a ‘hair splitter or three’ 14.31.37 p.m.), the 14.31.37 p.m. was the start (took three hours plus, for me to be brutalized, again) and (I know, the p.m. possibly not grammerly correct) I bought into, and played, a total of ……. Drum roll please, 4,four, multi table poker tournament’s, nothing else,nada,zero,no cash, no dym,no freeroll,just,four mtt’s, total buy in’s, £24, defacto,average buy in stake, £6 ( I know, I know) highly likely you could of done that too,(the calculation) without ( in my case) my trusty, circa 1976 Abacus ( do please ask ‘da yoof’) by the way ( I genuinely need a ghost writer, Guy Ritchie – Idris Elba, want the gig) wont that be a shock, when it comes to fruition.. What price you want to lay me, I am a backer.

    (In anticipation, of a ‘hair splitter or three), buy ins £23.90, average buy in £5 of your English pounds, and ninety seven and a half, of your English pennies.

    Used to love, a decimal ½ p, jog your metric, on on on,

    Forum competition, (no google now, naught eee) @ mrmuppetPmugJ Golden (don) happenny, bronze, silver and gold, gift from the Gods.

    How much, did, does, a tankard (pint) of ‘yer’ sterling ½ p’s come too? As a kid, thought I had assailed Everest, every time a full tankard, p.s just remembered, and ‘the secret stash? They are large, green, somewhat moth bitten, but, any offers? You take ‘em’ to Threadneedle Street, and we can go, 40 % me, 60% you.

    But, as ever, and usual, I digress, and have to reiterate to myself;

    I am not a very experienced poker player;
    I am not as good, a poker as I believe

    Posted hand evidence, indicates mrmuppetPmugJ, does not have a grasp, on……. just about everything Poker! because ( hierocracy abounds) a single hand, will get slaughtered,as,it is not ABC 1 super system ( and before any hard blowing hawk swoop makes a comment ) I would go over broken glass, to spend a few hours with the man, a ‘hero’ for better or worse, of mine.

    But, ever heard of a player, called Daniel Negreanu? not too shabby, is he, plays the board ( a lot) plays the player (a lot) calls (called off) huge river shoves, and been right, a **** of a lot more times, than he has been wrong,and,my dear fans ( about 4 now !) a 400% increase !!) On the Forum, Mr Negreanu, also plays an angle, known as the turn disconnect……………..so, please,…………….

    I might be, a lot of things, and I like, a potential new moniker; mrmuppetPmugJ

    ‘Digressing again’ to assume, makes; an **** out of U and ME! But I will take Mr Negreaeau, as a given………..

    How about Mr Bates? That would be Matt, ever heard of him? The best player on this site (one of the best) I can find about 260,000 reasons that put up a very convincing argument, to substantiate that

    Are you going to ‘slaughter Matt? In the face of the evidence? ‘Coz’ guess what?

    Matt, plays Poker ‘different’ (stated fact, several times over, by not just Matt, but also the guvnor, and others. In fact, my enemies, please CHOKE, Matt told me, advised me, I play, too tight, need to open up, and the fella, a million per cent on the money correct.

    I knock no one, for multi tabling, times 4-8-12-16, if that is your ‘optimization’ well, happy days, how that equates, too pleasure ( that would be, the pleasure of Poker) enjoyment, rather than, automaton button clicker, will be forever lost on me.
    As far, as I am aware (as the guvnor has stated and stated) there is no Algorithm! so it has to be;

    Just 52 cards Just 4 suits, shuffled and dealt accordingly, within a game (we all know) called Poker ,fundamentally underpinned, by something called probability, or, as I too, would dearly love to explain to the sceptic’s ! It is simple Maths!

    Four Mtt’s only,
    Exit hand 1 after ‘playing my Poker brains out (and before anyone, rears up,) if you believe, you have ‘a bead’ you use it? Don’t you. I believe, this shows a near 50k, who shoved? Who called? it was me, that called the smash, 74% 26% good, improve to 87% v 13 % after the turn ( having been called a MUG) to get rivered for the ( I have (a) lost count, and (b) not a Scooby doo,what it feels like, to dish that out to someone else, not a clue FACT.

    That was 17.33 pm, three solid hours (on its own, you may scoff) it was after this, previous exit hand, above, a mug, for calling! (74% 87% good, and below, for calling huge shove 87% good).

    Do please, not insult my intelligence, ( as has been done before) by attempting to get me to accept ‘ that you’ dear reader, won’t mention any names, run like that, all day long, and twice on Sundays,because,if you do, it’s a pretty magic trick, to be a winning player ( or is that, a very ‘naught eee aspiration ?)

    How about a flip? Minutes earlier, a flip it may be, but, (oh what a surprise) guess who had to call the shove? As favorite, and not a Scooby, of that holding up,

    I will post those hands, (above) I could mention, the opening gambit, of the day, my first mtt,as indicated, 08.30, fold, fold,fold, then watch the flop (FLOP) not board, pair 50 % three hands from six deals, which made my eyebrow arch, QQ,33,77 flop paired, three consecutive hands from six,(THE FLOP) not the board,

    I then look down, at my pocket (2nd best hand in Poker?) KK, only up against 88, which naturally spikes the flop, and wonders never cease, quads the turn! Had a half hearted bash, in the evening £200 jobby, but no chance my KKK holding up!

    And wishing everyone, a fine and dandy morning, this Independence Day Eve.
    Plenty plenty cold water to hand peoples, in these coming days, very important to hydrate, especially ‘darn’ ‘sarf’ gonna be a few warm ones.

    I aspire, to delight the forum, on many levels, (with just a caveat or two) as I impose, a forum hiatus upon myself, for a full calendar year! After today.

    So I will close my offerings, with this, I know it is ‘downswing’* I know it is ‘variance’*
    To that end, it would be futile !, to post my last,100 chronological m.t.t ‘massive pot exit hands’ might show a ‘bloodbath’ jammed (pun) full of 60 % + 70% + 80% + suck outs ,beats ,either got it in massively good, or called it off, massively good.

    I know it is ‘downswing’* I know it is ‘variance’*

    Last one, I will add, ironically!, straight after posting yesterday…, only three m.t.t. played, in about ten hours, (one of which, the standard ‘windmill tilt in the £1000 freeroll’ one day I will cash for a £1 (then I will have a ‘brag’) Back in the ‘real’ Poker world, is getting it in, 66% good, called off by 34% ‘behind’ considered a flip? I always ( being the very inexperienced player, that I am) considered 55% -45% a flip, but in my inexperienced Poker World, I want to be getting it in 66% good, like this, all day long, twice on Sundays, (but, as a novice, I might be wrong) *@guvnor* ,answer when my grovelling,pleading,has been digested, not straight away, remember, when you told me,’you’,’we’,’us’,’all players’, on occasions, should be ‘metaphorically speaking’ fist pumping the ‘air’ ,getting it in, calling it off, bad, please educate me ? the bit I cannot get my head around,fundamentally,based on probability,of,course,in case of lost in translation, I only refer to,specifiacally, no limit hold em, no,none,other variant.
    Before I post, my latest, ‘whotsit crusher’ which was ,nearly two and a half hours deep,ten left, eight paid, and played tighter, and dug in deeper, than an ‘Alabama Tick’ to get to this spot, hand number 1398524724, admittedly marginal ! I mean only the second best starting hand in poker, KK, shipped in the 10,000, it got called!
    And I was 66% good, but standard stuff for me, about ‘a million, in the real world’ to hold up.

    So, before I post that (last time)
    Reiterate;

    I aspire, to delight the forum, on many levels, (with just a caveat or two) as I impose, a forum hiatus upon myself, for a full calendar year! After today.
    *caveat* , @guvnor ,make sure you are sitting down, when I have a ‘brag’, main,mini,I might just post a smiling thingy, in ‘brags’ if that is o.k ?
    If I promise, all the above, and all of the following; ‘will you ‘? (Posted at the end)
    I will endeavour, to do all I am able, to ensure (we) the planet, only have to deal with the ‘nice E.T.s (they exist) and not the nasty ones (unfortunately, they do too)
    The next sentence a little ‘naughty’ but I am sure the lateral thinkers, will crack the code? Forget, ‘the waybackmachine’ no good that, the ‘way forwardmachine’ different matter !,had a sneak, around Christmas time 2019, on the exchange, the boy’s from Goodison,1.98 being offered,2.02 being requested !

    That’s about it, hiatus commencing, if I keep my end of it, any chance?

    My rng taken off annihilate? xxx XXX

    I will leave you, with this one,

    'what do you give too,the man who has everything ? ' .......penecillin

    hiatus starts from today,

    had to depart, leaving with, the old 'every day' 2820/1 shot ! 0r 0.03% , that would be known as two pocket pairs, six handed, and two FLOPPED sets.

    and after three hours, nine left, six paid, the 'old full house over full house 1905, and too finish the job,two minutes later, same two layers, me now small stack,aginst,the now huge stack, make a guess ? who got it in, with A8 ? and who called it with 79 ? and who got there , on the river ! need you ask. 88 A kicker, 79....straightened on the river.

    It has been a ' Poker year' I will never forget, thanks at least for that. XX

    bit ironic, to conclude, a year down the line, in just two mtts, over hours and hours, two pocket pairs,into two flopped sets, into full house over full house, hours later followed by, full house over full house, (19.05) same two players, me, now small stack,against the now big stack, fire it in with my A8, called off by 97, guess who was 75% -25% with only the river (Lillo ol me) guess who took down the pot ? (not Lillo ol me)

    its been an experience, boys and girls, two of the nicest players played against, engy and myna. And, with that, Iwish you all well.
