    ...and here's the scene;

    I missed the action as I was typing the previous post, but we have lost Nathan Slater, who exited in 5th for £4,150.

    I'm told the hands were A-K (Justin Kazickas I am told) v Nathan's J-10, all in pre, but I guess there's more to it than that.

    Some days, everything just goes perfectly.

    Barry Grimes has the K-5. And gets paid.

    BIG accident for Michael Richardson when he goes to war with 8-8 & finds Ashley Timms happy to take him on with 10-10.

    That leaves Michael with dust, & by the time I get back to the table I'll be surprised if he is still there.

    And so it proves, Michael Richardson exits in 4th for £5,500.

    It seems the lads want to have a chat, so the clock has been stopped for now.

    After a short discussion, there was not a meeting of minds as to chopping it up, so they play on.

    Oooooh unusual, hope it doesn’t turn into a long drawn out affair for your sake Tony.

    Meanwhile, hilarious scenes ensue when they decide to do a 1 hand flip for the trophy.

    When they get to the river, somehow Barry Grime is still technically in with a chance, but he needs a 3 - & no other card with do - to win. Just a 3. Nothing else.

    And that's how good he is running today.

    Well done Barry, fully deserved.

    And, of course, our winner, Barry Grime, looking like the cat that got the cream, as well he might.

    So that's it from the team here, so on behalf of the Sky Crew (Sam, Kirsty, Charlotte, James, Ambo and myself), not forgetting Doug and all the team at 235 Manchester, a very good night to you all, and thanks for reading.

    I've received quite a few PM's over the weekend, thank you, and I'll reply to them all tomorrow.
