Who won what on Sunday? The Crusher Group Crushed

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 172,130

Vegas Semi

Just 32 runners for this, so with 10 x £430 seats Guaranteed into this Sunday's Final, a hefty chunk of overlay.

Love the alias of the player in 5th, especially the puntastic spelling.

The 10th & last seat winner, @giesahaun won his entry in the Grand National Forum Comp, so I'll be railing him to do well in the Final.

    7.30pm £6k Bounty Hunter

    This sailed over the Guarantee line with 10% to spare.

    The winner, @avix is a member of the "Crusher Study Group", which is a great example of why "Community" is good. You can read about them here;

    https://community.skypoker.com/discussion/174554/crusher-study-group#latest

    Avix has a 63% ROI over a 600+ game sample, which whilst a small sample, is pretty food.

    In 3rd was @68Trebor, who is doling a Bankroll Challenge & Diary, here;

    https://community.skypoker.com/discussion/126225/the-return-of-68trebor/p22

    With his bankroll down to dust on Saturday, he entered a few satellites, & a few hours later had cashed in both Main & Mini, & then followed up with a 3rd in this.

    @HAYSIE was 6th, taking a chunk of chips from @68Trebor with a flopped boat. MBN to be HAYSIE.

    @avix 1105000 1 £895.05 + £331.10 Head Prizes 10

    @Arrogant 0 2 £540.35 + £281.06 Head Prizes 12

    @68Trebor 0 3 £326.53 + £19.69 Head Prizes 1

    @poker55 0 4 £256.91 + £155.04 Head Prizes 7

    @SCOTCHMAN 0 5 £218.79 + £107.35 Head Prizes 6

    @HAYSIE 0 6 £182.32 + £124.33 Head Prizes 9

    Two outstanding performances merit mention, @Jac35 in 173, his misery compounded when @cpfc_2010 outlasted him by 3 spots. Grumpy mood incoming.

    Sunday Major

    Missed g'tee by 4 entries/rebuys, so not great.

    Fabulous result for another member of the Crusher Study Group when @chrisdonkb donked to victory. Owner of a Sharky Gold Star, he now has £28,000 of profit from 3,000 games with a very healthy 57% ROI. Bloke's a natural, with great temperament & no ego issues.

    Runner-up @rndmmuppet has been MIA from Sky Poker MTT's for a fortnight, & @ziggy01 was batting way above average in 3rd.

    In 5th was @bigggballs playing his first Sky Poker MTT in 7 months, with the boy Groggs in 6th.

    @chrisdonkb 1460000 1 £4200

    @rndmmuppet 0 2 £2430

    @ziggy01 0 3 £1395

    @SoLack 0 4 £1095

    @bigggballs 0 5 £945

    @FeelGroggy 0 6 £795

    Not such a good night for Guitar Bloke though, down in 120th.

    Mini Major

    Easily covered guarantee.

    At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Crusher Study Group shipped their 3rd win of the evening when @jubb romped home with BLUESTONES 2nd.

    If anyone can come up with a suggestion as to what the alias @djsnorlax (3rd) might mean, I'm all ears.

    @jubb 1175000 1 £622.75

    @BLUESTONES 0 2 £364.25

    @djsnorlax 0 3 £207.97

    @spearsy136 0 4 £159.80

    @Aido_dom 0 5 £136.30

    @accccer03 0 6 £112.80

    Good to see @Angmar2626 running deep in 12th;

    @Angmar2626 0 12 £30.55

    Meanwhile, not everyone was enjoying their evening, poor old @spulding had a torrid night if his Forum Post in The Poker Clinic means anything;

    "sky poker can just **** off!!!! I was biggest of tournament!!! and then I just could't enter the game 4 20-25 minutes!!! 4k off skypoker!!!"

    Regular readers will know I get bemused by multiple punctuation marks, but 13 of them in a sentence of around 20 words takes some beating. Let's hope he has a better day today.

    The Heavy Artillery crossed the line in a heap, & it was good to see Gelders in the mix. Froozle is just getting revved up for UKOPS, mark my words.

    Quickdraw

    A perfectly acceptable 35 hopefuls for this.

    Our man Froozle topped the field, & look who ran 3rd, none other than @NChanning.

    That's Vicky Coren with Ambo, and the occasion was the Bluff Europe Awards a few years back. I had been nominated for an Award, & Neil invited me to share a table with him & Miss C. Unforch, we barely had time to chat with Vicky, as she was trotting up to the Table every 10 minutes to collect various (& well-deserved) Awards & went home with a carrier-bad full of trophies, whilst I went home empty-handed, as per. They eventually gave me an Award the next year, which resulted in the worst photo of me ever ever ever, & one which I have no intention of sharing with you.

    @Froozle 175000 1 £350 + £216.39 Head Prizes 4

    @BAZZ72 0 2 £218.75 + £97.27 Head Prizes 4

    @NChanning 0 3 £131.25 0

    @Gambelo 0 4 £96.25 + £46.88 Head Prizes 2

    @GSmith13 0 5 £78.75 + £176.95 Head Prizes 7

    @alpine 0 6 £23.44 Head Prizes 1

    Once again @peter27 ran 7th in this but failed to collect a single Bounty, exactly as he did a night or so earlier. Think he's on a bit of an anti-heater right now.

    Really?

    Never knew that. I'll keep an eye out for the Results & maybe post them here later in the week.

    I'm still waiting to see the official result of GPS Stoke, where TIMBER did so well, but both Genting & THM seem to be dragging their heels.

    Big congrats to @chrisdonkb - a very impressive run of results you're stringing together Sir.

    Thanks for the mention Tikay. Battling my way into the top 97% of finishers is a sign of real progress in my MTT game.
