They then divided this 6% of UK GDP by the number of households in Britain to obtain £4,300 per household. This was incredibly misleading, and ultimately a lie. Firstly, GDP growth is not the same thing as household spending. A rise in GDP does not necessarily mean all households have more spending power.
Secondly, although the wording sounded like people would be worse off, in reality the forecast stated that people would be better off – it would just be by 6% less compared to if a Remain vote was returned. This figure was also seen as overly pessimistic (studies for The Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics put the figure at 1.3 – 2.6%. A report by Open Britain even claimed the UK could be better off by 1.3%, mainly by cutting EU red tape. This was all ignored in the Treasury’s campaigning to the public.
Contrary to what Remainers constantly say about the Leave campaign misleading the people, it is clear that the Remain campaign lied just as much, if not far more. Fortunately, the wisdom of the British people prevailed, and they saw through most of the lies to vote for Brexit in numbers never before seen in a nationwide election

Brexit. It’s so much wrong! Before 2015 most of us in Britain were happily getting on with our lives and arguing about things that matter such as the NHS, education, housing or whether a burger is also a sandwich or not, and so on.
Then Nigel Farage, David Cameron Grrr and a pile of outside money agitators started breaking all of our things. Enough is enough. Sometimes we need help to see how stupid our own small squabbling is.
This brings me to Lord Buckethead. Our Intergalactic Overlord.
His Bucketness, who has already run heroically against Margaret Thatcher, John Major, and Theresa May, was mentioned in a tweet recently, to which I replied:
“I wonder if @LordBuckethead would stand against @Nigel_Farage for his MEP seat? I'd crowdfund a campaign to knock and leaflet every school and house in that ward and the great Buckethead could well crush him at the ballot box. People would love it!”
Well, my call was answered! One of Lord Buckethead’s representatives here on Earth responded, informing me that Lord Buckethead has agreed to stand for election -- if together we can make it happen. You see, the European MEP elections will take place on the 23rd of May -- yikes, next month -- so we would just need to raise only £5000, to cover Lord Buckethead’s deposit, before this Thursday, April 25! Deadline, deadline! This one mustn’t whoosh by.
If we raise *more* than £5000, Buckethead’s emissaries on Earth will use every extra penny to campaign on the ground and on the Internet for Lord Buckethead to face down and beat Nigel Farage as MEP candidate for the South East of England!
WE ALL NEED TO COME TOGETHER NOW. Help us ensure that Nigel Farage faces Lord Buckethead at the ballot box and our Intergalactic Overlord ends Farage’s troublesome, self-aggrandising and damaging-to-us-all mischief once and for all.

- I'm Tristan Palmer. A citizen of the UK. An ordinary person. A voter. As described above I answered a tweet and suggested that Lord Buckethead ran for the EU MEP elections this May. Next month! I was contacted by his team and we have set up this crowd fund to pay his £5000 entry fee and additional funds to enable him to campaign as an independent. Lord Buckethead has been a long standing political contributor to the UK's electoral system as can be seen here.

Nigel Farage launches scathing attack on ‘dishonest’ Anna Soubry at Brexit Party rally in Nottingham
Pacing the stage, Mr Farage outlined what he said was the problem to a crowd of around 700 at the Albert Hall conference centre Nigel Farage made a stinging attack on Change UK MP Anna Soubry at a rally for the Brexit Party in Nottingham on Saturday.
The party leader accused the MP for Broxtowe in Nottinghamshire of being “dishonest”, “disrespectful” and “undemocratic” when he addressed a crowd at the Albert Hall conference centre in the city.
Pacing the stage, Mr Farage outlined what he said was “the problem” and the reason he decided to launch the Brexit Party. “It’s fine for Anna Soubry to vote Remain in the referendum and support the Remain campaign, I’ve got no problem with that, why should I, it was a choice,” he said.
“But let me tell you what I have got a problem with. I’ve got a problem with Anna Soubry. And actually, most people in our parliament who said, as she said to her constituents, that despite her own choice – she was elected in 2017 – to honour the referendum result – and what she has done is the complete and absolute opposite. It is dishonest, it is disrespectful, it is undemocratic and it is wholly unacceptable.
“And that is why we’re here.”
He went on to tell the crowd of around 700, who met at the hall following a march through the city centre, that the issue was more than about leaving the European Union.
“This is about whether we are living in a working democratic nation,” he added. He also admitted to having a trademark flutter on the outcome of the forthcoming European Parliament elections, which he intends to stand in.
“I went into a bookmakers last Friday because one of my well documented vices is I like a bet. And I put a bet on the Brexit Party, at three to one, for the Brexit party to come top in the European elections.”
He added: “I’ve spent 20 years in the European Parliament and I think I’ve enjoyed it more than them.”
‘Politics is broken’ Annunziata Rees-Mogg, freelance journalist and sister of prominent Tory Eurosceptic Jacob Rees-Mogg, also gave a speech at the rally.
Speaking ahead of the event, she told reporters that she will be standing in the East Midlands “to ensure the Brexit they voted for is actually delivered”. “I think our politics is broken. It’s been very clear that we have got a Remainer parliament trying very ineffectually to represent the Leave vote,” she said.
“We need Leave representatives to fight the corner of our democracy.”

Brexit. It’s so much wrong! Before 2015 most of us in Britain were happily getting on with our lives and arguing about things that matter such as the NHS, education, housing or whether a burger is also a sandwich or not, and so on.
Then Nigel Farage, David Cameron Grrr and a pile of outside money agitators started breaking all of our things. Enough is enough. Sometimes we need help to see how stupid our own small squabbling is.
This brings me to Lord Buckethead. Our Intergalactic Overlord.
His Bucketness, who has already run heroically against Margaret Thatcher, John Major, and Theresa May, was mentioned in a tweet recently, to which I replied:
“I wonder if @LordBuckethead would stand against @Nigel_Farage for his MEP seat? I'd crowdfund a campaign to knock and leaflet every school and house in that ward and the great Buckethead could well crush him at the ballot box. People would love it!”
Well, my call was answered! One of Lord Buckethead’s representatives here on Earth responded, informing me that Lord Buckethead has agreed to stand for election -- if together we can make it happen. You see, the European MEP elections will take place on the 23rd of May -- yikes, next month -- so we would just need to raise only £5000, to cover Lord Buckethead’s deposit, before this Thursday, April 25! Deadline, deadline! This one mustn’t whoosh by.
If we raise *more* than £5000, Buckethead’s emissaries on Earth will use every extra penny to campaign on the ground and on the Internet for Lord Buckethead to face down and beat Nigel Farage as MEP candidate for the South East of England!
WE ALL NEED TO COME TOGETHER NOW. Help us ensure that Nigel Farage faces Lord Buckethead at the ballot box and our Intergalactic Overlord ends Farage’s troublesome, self-aggrandising and damaging-to-us-all mischief once and for all.
I personally will receive nothing from this. I am merely representing Lord Buckethead and his human earth emissaries. All of your donations will be received by them and spent as described.

- I'm Tristan Palmer. A citizen of the UK. An ordinary person. A voter. As described above I answered a tweet and suggested that Lord Buckethead ran for the EU MEP elections this May. Next month! I was contacted by his team and we have set up this crowd fund to pay his £5000 entry fee and additional funds to enable him to campaign as an independent. Lord Buckethead has been a long standing political contributor to the UK's electoral system as can be seen here.

- The funds will be used specifically for the £5000 entry to the EU MEP elections. Entry date this coming Thursday 25th April! So we need to get a wriggle on!
- All additional funds raised will be used as campaign expenses to promote Lord Buckethead as an independent candidate as an alternative to a vote for Nigel Farage on the 23rd of May. Monies raised over the £5000 will be spent on and off line and records will be kept to account for all of it. Should there be any small change left over it will be donated to Extinction Rebellion or other similar charities. None of us will benefit or retain any of it.

- I am not the beneficiary of any funds collected. I can not withdraw or access any funds at all. Not one penny. All funds can only be collected by David Hughes who is campaign manager for Lord Buckethead's team on Earth in London UK.

Pacing the stage, Mr Farage outlined what he said was the problem to a crowd of around 700 at the Albert Hall conference centre
Nigel Farage made a stinging attack on Change UK MP Anna Soubry at a rally for the Brexit Party in Nottingham on Saturday.
The party leader accused the MP for Broxtowe in Nottinghamshire of being “dishonest”, “disrespectful” and “undemocratic” when he addressed a crowd at the Albert Hall conference centre in the city.
Pacing the stage, Mr Farage outlined what he said was “the problem” and the reason he decided to launch the Brexit Party.
“It’s fine for Anna Soubry to vote Remain in the referendum and support the Remain campaign, I’ve got no problem with that, why should I, it was a choice,” he said.
“But let me tell you what I have got a problem with.
I’ve got a problem with Anna Soubry. And actually, most people in our parliament who said, as she said to her constituents, that despite her own choice – she was elected in 2017 – to honour the referendum result – and what she has done is the complete and absolute opposite. It is dishonest, it is disrespectful, it is undemocratic and it is wholly unacceptable.
“And that is why we’re here.”
He went on to tell the crowd of around 700, who met at the hall following a march through the city centre, that the issue was more than about leaving the European Union.
“This is about whether we are living in a working democratic nation,” he added.
He also admitted to having a trademark flutter on the outcome of the forthcoming European Parliament elections, which he intends to stand in.
“I went into a bookmakers last Friday because one of my well documented vices is I like a bet. And I put a bet on the Brexit Party, at three to one, for the Brexit party to come top in the European elections.”
He added: “I’ve spent 20 years in the European Parliament and I think I’ve enjoyed it more than them.”
‘Politics is broken’
Annunziata Rees-Mogg, freelance journalist and sister of prominent Tory Eurosceptic Jacob Rees-Mogg, also gave a speech at the rally.
Speaking ahead of the event, she told reporters that she will be standing in the East Midlands “to ensure the Brexit they voted for is actually delivered”.
“I think our politics is broken. It’s been very clear that we have got a Remainer parliament trying very ineffectually to represent the Leave vote,” she said.
“We need Leave representatives to fight the corner of our democracy.”
