Unlucky, but you need to play poker post flop!

You bet 4000 into a pot of 380?
Hands that you beat just fold
Maybe AK KQ call (1% of hands)
..But only hands that really calling are beating you 55,88,KK,58,K5,K8, even 7s6s! (About 5% of hands).

So review what you've done: fold out the 90%+ of hands you beat, got max. value from the 2% of hands you beat and lose to 5% you don't - not a winning formula.

Think there maybe more to your losing streak than luck looking at this ;)

Think you need to look again.

    Yes mis-read, my bad.
Early on in sng (what is this by the way, what game/stakes?), is this a good call?
Do we crush SNG like this?

I think there are a few pointers here for this hand these days people are calling super wide in the blinds even to traditional 3x raises. So I think we charge more pre flop even 4.5x raise to 5.5x raise is ok pre flop. People will call there is 380 in the pot pre flop and blinds are 20/40 . Also you are out of position pre flop so you should also raise more to compensate and to build the pot..
When you see the flop of king low low cards and you see the pot size and then your remaining stack size you only really have one decision which is call. The fact that you lose is annoying but it is just one hand in a lifetime of poker. The more interesting fact is people will call with 8 5 even to 3x. And then even with the best hand they sill just shove into you and discourage you from putting money into the pot when they have the best hand.
Ok he won the hand but these are the mistakes people make in poker that you can identify , profile and take advantage of.
Don't focus on the result of the hand focus on your decisions which in this hand on the whole are good decisions most of the t8me you will win with this hand when these cards run like that on the flop
There is lots of Losing in poker accept it and move on look at hands after you play and think about your decisions good bad and try and improve that is what is important .not whether you win a hand hope this helps you danny
