"Melissa is now sold as well."

    Seems harsh.

Decent price too considering it’s condition

We viewed a place on Saturday and had a low offer accepted today. Although it’s still about 50k more then we originally planned to spend!

It’s in Little Eaton which is a lovely village in Derby. The house is great with a big kitchen extension and huge garden backing on to fields.

Pottered around with poker this last week quite successfully. For the volume I’ve put in I’ve had decent returns. Played my first eliminator freeroll on Sunday and got 7 heads. Thought it may be worth playing the rest of them. Good news last night was that I cashed in it for £4. Less good news was that I git zero heads :(

    Will play that again tonight

Whenever I hear mention of Little Eaton I'm put in mind of Little Chef. In fact I think there used to be a roundabout on the A38 known as "Little Chef island".

    It's probably long gone now.

    Olympic breakfast, what memories.

    Little Chefs! Urgh

    Fortunately long gone now
It’s now Starbucks island which will be great and expensive on my way to work each day

4 or 5 years ago I recall Starbucks doing a special edition Halloween coffee.

I think it was toffee flavour with some cream on the top , very addictive.

Gill loves the Starbucks spice latte specials at Halloween time. She's Halloween mad, always has been & dreams of us being in Vegas at this time of year.

She's down this weekend (lockdown permitting), and tells me she's bringing down a pumpkin & candles to put in the front window. Deep joy.

    Hardly played any poker recently
Had a little go last night and won £2.05 so that was good.

House stuff seems to be going ok. It’ll be interesting to see if they extend the stamp duty holiday now we’re going into lockdown again.

Talking of lockdown. North Berwick trip :(

Made the decision to not see Harry again for the next month. Couldn’t live with myself if i passed anything to Harry and then in turn to his Mum. We’re starting to see a fair number of cases at work now.

Oh nearly forgot, got engaged on Saturday

Congratulations to you both on the engagement.

In matters of far greater import, have you got your new style golf handicap yet?

Great to see some good news during such dark times Paul.
Really happy for you, long may the upward curve continue.

    Hi Paul
It’s nice being happy isn’t it, you’re a good guy and all the help you gave me when I was struggling I shan’t forget.
Really pleased for you both, and the not seeing Harry for a while is the best decision made through thoughtfulness.
