SPT Notts Live Update.

A very good morning/afternoon/evening to you.

SPT Notts will take place from Friday 4th October to Sunday 6th October, with Friday & Saturday as Day 1's, & on Sunday they will play down to a winner.

Here's the basic info, but if you have any questions, fire away.



Day 1A Flight

Friday 4th October

Play commences at 16:00
Late registration open until 22:00
Play concludes at 01:00am

Day 1B Flight

Saturday 5th October

Play commences at 14:00
Late registration open until 20:00
Play concludes at 23:00pm

Day 2 - Final Day

Sunday 6th October

Play commences at 13:00
Late registration closed
Play estimated to conclude around 01:00am




Players are allowed one re-entry per flight, and can play both flights. Players have the option to take their biggest stack through to Day 2.



Starting stack: 25,000
Blinds: 40 minutes

    Hi @Tikay10 , I'm planning on getting to the casino 1pm on Saturday. Is that early enough to beat the queues?

    If you have won a seat via a Sky Poker online satellite, or made a Direct Buy-In via Sky Poker.com, just turn up on either Friday or Saturday (up to you), report to Registration, & they will, or should, have you on the list. If not, come see either Sky James or myself, & we'll get it sorted.

    You MUST go to registration, & they will give you a little slip, then just wait for the Table Draw to go up on the plasma screens a few minutes before play starts.

    Your chips are not in play until you register.

    Perfect I shall aim for 1pm then.

    I live reasonably local, about an hour and a quarter, but I'm staying over at the Holiday Inn. Booked it for 2 nights....just in case haha.

    I shall pop over and say hello on arrival, see you on Saturday.

    Make sure you to to the right Holiday Inn in Nottingham - there are several. Nearest is Castle Marina, there's another in Stapleford right on J25 of the M1, & there's a Holiday Inn Express somewhere in town too.

    Thanks, yeah I noticed that, I'm at the closest one. The Holiday Inn must be doing good business, they are all over the place.

    Unforch. I cannot get my laptop or mobile to connect, so I'm in a bit of an awkward spot until I can get it sorted. Fingers crossed James can help me get online once he arrives

    normally I come on on fridays but issues meant I have to come on saturday.
    I expect to arrive via train by 1pm lets hope they this train doesn't screw up like the last train.

    Still having laptop problems here, & I don't think I'll be able to sort them today.

    I can tell you that with 20 minutes to the scheduled start, just 21 players are registered, eek.

    Does this mean that tomorrow is likely to be really busy?

    I think it just means poker players aren’t that good at turning up early! Hopefully there are now queues
