Enjoyable read as always, irrespective of the levels of waffle.
Though if any doubt, waffle is good in my book.
I came into this UKOPS with the feeling of 'running into form' at just the right time.
The lack of Dublin train related waffle on these updates, is confirmation that things haven't gone the way I would have hoped.
Suffered the most brutal of bad beats in the Sunday Main, not just the river but the way the whole hand played out and I went from running on strong, to being dumped on my backside as the rest of the field raced by.
As I reflect on my play from Monday and Tuesday I don't think I have fully recovered from my Sunday night exit.
Should know better by now, but with the bankroll under pressure I am at least grateful I bagged a seat in a freeroll for Sundays Main Event.
In the meantime I will say I'm encouraged as opposed to envious by some of the names I see making well deserved FT appearances.
Always nice to get amongst the winners. Thanks as always @Tikay10 for the updates. I was on the same table as @lyonsbob06 who was on a bit of heater and took my bounty for good measure not long after I'd congratulated him on his performance the previous night - glad he went on to bink it. VWP Sir!

I'm sure I'll manage some Dublin Area Rapid Transit mentions before the week it though.
I'm afraid the waffle remains mandatory.
How you keeping?
Thanks Tikay,
Since I can find the time to bemoan my luck and standard of play at the tables, I guess I should say thankfully at the moment, I am keeping well and so are family, friends and pets.
Difficult times for everyone at the moment though.
One for the "stopped clock" department here, as I wrote this on Tuesday after Gambelo won Quickdraw;
"Winner Gambelo is better known for his UKOPS CV, in the Xmas version he had 6 cashes & 3 FT's. He'll make a UKOPS Final this time round too, mark my words".
Well he not only made a Final, he won it. Bravo Gambelo.
Pick of the rest was surely Everton fan Toffeeandy.
Thanks @Tikay10 , was having a poor night, bombed out of 2 of the other UKOPS tournaments early on, during which I lost with AA 3 times, to 10 7 off, J 10 suited & K 5 off, so was thinking it wasn't my night. Reg'd this just for the **** of it, played ok but ran crazy well and before I knew it was on the final table; with 3 left lost an AIPF to Gambelo with KQ hearts v A2 hearts, no K or Q so game over, Gambelo looked the class player at the table though.
As you say strange times at the moment, I was furloughed from my work on 1st April for the foreseeable future, we do cashiering/management accounts/budgeting for legal firms and as pretty much all legal work has stopped then there's not a lot for us to do just now. It means I can spend more time with the family though which is good, my boy will be exactly 100 days old tomorrow, Hogmanay baby so he was born the same day that the first case of the virus was reported strangely enough. My daughter (who's 4) has been telling me she needs a new swing, and she's also getting too big for her bike, so at least I now have some £'s to put towards those!
Hope you're well, might catch up with you at one of the SPT events, if they ever happen again!

He's a bit of a beast once he gets a stack.

Stay safe and healthy.

@Toffeeandy
That's a great post mate, glad the family are well & getting some benefit from last night's bink.
SPT's return? I'm very hopeful, but we shall have to wait & see how long this awful virus situation lasts.
