At last, horse racing on grass, or as we are supposed to refer to it, turf.
Plenty of good races at Kempton, but to me, real horse racing only takes place on grass, & Yarmouth, right on the front, is a very fair track. Yarmouth it is, then.
17.25 - 7f handicap, 12 runners, draw advantage high
18.00 - 7f handicap, 10 runners, draw advantage high
Presumably, Yarmouth is England's most easterly racecourse, and as you can see it sits very close to the shore. It's usually very windy of course, which, for those with keen eyes, explains Scroby Sands Wind Farm which you can just about see, sited 2 miles offshore.
