I expect most of you were aware of that unsavoury moment last night when some dipstick arranged for a banner reading "WHITE LIVES MATTER BURNLEY" to be flown across The Ethiad during the Man C Burnley affair.
L'Equipe describes Burnley as a 100% white team with players with flattened noses and big ears, coached by a ginger english-man, in a city who voted 70% for Brexit and which has been the breeding ground of racial tensions.
As great as this black lives matter movement is I expect very little to change at least immediately. Hardcore racists will always be racist but hopefully it will help to stop the "I am not racist" people who then go and have a laugh over a black joke with their friends.... because thats not hurting anybody.
Unfortunately the only way to bring an end to racism is to educate from a young age. Racisim is not a disease we are born with it is something that is taught to us by ignorant parents and family members.
I also think black people have a part to play in this and the N word should not be used by anybody. I get the context is completely different but it is an oppressive word that they should want abolished.
Honestly though I think the future is bright, With each generation that passes I honestly believe racism is dying out. Children today are much more open minded and hopefully there will be a day when there is no black and white just humans

Cambridge University backs academic who tweeted 'White Lives Don't Matter' - and PROMOTES her to professor - after she received barrage of abuse and death threats
The University of Cambridge has spoken out in support of Dr Priyamvada Gopal (left), 51, who teaches in the Faculty of English at Churchill College (right), after she was hit by a wave of abusive messages and death threats for tweeting: 'I'll say it again. White Lives Don't Matter. As white lives.' Following the message (tweet inset), which has since been deleted by Twitter, the academic was met with a barrage of outrage and a petition demanding that she be fired was also launched. However today the Russel Group University defended the 'rights of its academics to express their own lawful opinions' and said it deplored the terms of abuse and personal attacks against Dr Gopal.
MARTIN SAMUEL: Racism may not be inside Burnley FC, but it is building up all around it

A man by the name of Jake Hepple claimed responsibility for the banner, & far from being coy about it, openly boasted it was him.
Here's Jake.
And here's Jake with one of his POS pals.
Face rings a bell, but can't quite remember his name.

Jake responds.
And from 6 years ago...
Him and his girlfriend.
Apparently his girlfriend made & refused to retract serious racial slurs about those from Pakistan, but was "in floods of tears" after losing her job.
She & Jake seem a very well-matched couple.
