I think about 34% of the electorate voted for Labour. So two thirds didnt.
Then there are all the people that didnt vote. They didnt either.
..... but they are already part of the Electorate aren't they ?
I should have been more specific. Labour got 34% of the vote. So two thirds of those that voted didnt. The turnout was 60%. So the 40% that didnt vote, also didnt.

Alternatively, Labour got just short of 10 million votes. We have just over 48 million registered voters. So just over 38 million out of 48 million, didnt. That means almost 80% didnt.
Just had e-mail from British Gas regarding the 'Energy Price Cap'. My electric is rising by 6% and gas by 9% so an overall rise of 15% and then there is the next rise due in January.

Got to keep the shareholders happy & warm in winter....
I've just changed tariffs with British Gas for my electricity, I've changed to an EV tariff for electric vehicle users, I don't have an electric vehicle, I don't like EVs. I do however have solar panels and a battery system and British Gas said that's fine.
The EV tariff means that I can charge my batteries up overnight (midnight to 5 am) at a cost of only 7p per KWh and use that stored energy during the day rather than use from the grid at the normal cost of 26p per KWh. In addition to this when my solar panels are generating electricity I can also feed it back into the grid and get paid 15p per KWh!

Something is a bit wrong here.
Per cent is per 100. So-if your electric is going up by 6% and gas 7.5% then (if they are roughly equal) it is going up by 7.5%
