    as many of you know im not a fan of the BH, but i will probs watch the show as the grusome twoseome are hosting it :-D you 2 do a great job... I may even play it if im bored of jut doing the deepstack by 9pm

    I'm looking forward to the show tonight..........but i am also looking forward to a new website that will be up and running soon http://www.richardorford.com/ the main pic is a little scary, the eyes follow you around the room.....

    P.S. the pic top left is cool, i never knew you were in showaddywaddy  ;)

    Seriously, on the almost defunked Mickjenn thread (no posts for ages) you asked about a good poker book so i knew you were looking
    If you look at last night comp i put 3 in, thought i had a chance.

    Evening gents. Broke up for school holidays today (as I'm a teacher not an underage gambler) and now have 6 weeks to do the following :

    Play Sky Poker
    Post on the Sky Poker forum
    Read a poker book (hint hint)
    and do what Rich will also be doing a lot of............... watching Peppa Pig :)

    Peppa Pig make's me wish i was at a hog roast, i had nothing against peppa, well not the first 1000 times i had to watch the dvd, but i have a two year old boy who loves it.. i wouldnt mind so much but every time daddy pig comes on the screen he points and shouts daddy, then points at me.........not sure what to make of that.

    I absolutely love flopping the nuts and then watching my opponents try to bluff the fact that their top pair is better than say a full house. it isn't long before they are chipping all their money in and i'm laughing all the way to the bank.

    QUESTION THOUGH

    I heard Ed Giddens talking about the chances of hitting a flush on the flop being something like 152:1

    but whats the chances of hitting a straight flush on the flop? got one today which totally shocked me, unfortunately couldn't get my opponents to stick any money in the pot, after checking the flop i put a min raise in on the turn only to see them all fold away ;-(

    I voted for hitting a set on the river to beat an over pair because I am on the wrong side of this all the time and occasionally it feels goooooooooooooood to see someone else squirm.

    hi most satisfaction when playing poker;mine is when you are playing in a big tournament and you have hung on for ages with the lowest amount of chips to actually get past the bubble and make some money and then to go on and make even more money.Thanks from theguv60.
