    Be interesting to see how the BBC handle the Funeral, this Saturday.

    They havent amended the schedules yet.

    They will.

    The Sports schedules have all changed to miss the funeral;

    Yeah they have re-arranged sporting events, and postponed the Scottish National, but the schedule they are currently showing on Sky does not include any coverage of the funeral.
    ITV is 1.15 until 4.30, nothing yet on the Sky Schedule from the BBC.

    @HAYSIE

    How to follow the funeral on the BBC TV and radio

    HRH The Duke of Edinburgh Remembered: BBC One, Friday 16 April, 19:00-20:05

    The Funeral of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh: BBC One, Saturday 17 April, 12:30-16:20 and 20:10-21:10

    The funeral will also be broadcast on Saturday 17 April from 14:00-16:10 on Radio 4 and Radio 5 Live, BBC World Service English, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Ulster.

    It will also be broadcast on BBC Radio Wales and BBC local radio with some variation in start times.

    This seems like a far more reasonable coverage.
    The press coverage has also been massive.
    I am not a particular fan of the Royal Family, and have a dislike of one or two of them.
    The huge coverage of Phillips alleged Land Rover redesign, has conjured up amusing images of The Queen on the front door of Buckingham Palace shouting "For f..k sake Phil, for the last time, your dinner is getting cold".
    While Phil ignores her, with his head stuck under a Land Rover bonnet, in the front garden of The Palace, assisted by various leathered jacketed members of a local biker gang.
    He is appropriately dressed in welding goggles, and holding a huge wrench in one hand, and welding torch in the other.
    The fact that Undertakers have continued using traditional hearses over the years, rather than switching to this miraculous redesigned Land Rover, must have been particularly disappointing for The Duke.

    No matter what your personal views on the Royal Family this country always puts on a dignified showing on these occasions.
