I've arranged with Simon Trumper, that subject to timings (players still in the Comp won't be able to sit in), we will have a PRIVATE (us only) 30 to 45 to minute Q & A session with him on the finer points of Omaha. If anyone doubts Simon's Omaha credentials, look him up on any Live Database, where you will see he finalled in the $10,000 WSOP Omaha Event a few years back, & also won the Amsterdam Master Classics Omaha Tourney.
He has agreed to do this as a favour to me, subject to availibility, & so there will be no charge for this.
It's not a deffo, as he has to run & TD the Tourneys, but he assured me he would do his best to give us 30 or 45 minutes alone. This is ONLY for the Sky Poker group.
Simon is THE finest Omaha mentor I have ever met, bar none.
Please note, attendance at the Omaha Session, which is something I have arranged personally, & nothing to do with Sky Poker, will be by INVITE ONLY. It is NOT "open to anyone".
Definitely up for both days,but will only need hotel on Saturday night. If anyone gets a good deal sorted could they let me know.
Playing so bad at moment Im taking a break for a couple of weeks and going back to work ! Off to Le Touquet tomorrow then Loch Tummel and finally the Isle of Wight .

Hi Tony, nice to hear that your coming - tikay mentioned that we should look at staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel at Castle Marina, Nottingham - so may have a look at booking that at the weekend m8!! It would be great if we can all stay in the same place and as tikay said - we can then share taxis to and from DTD. Have a good time on your travels m8
Hi guys On another thread a discussion was started regarding a trip to Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham in April, this could be a day out or even a weekend away for some great poker in a class establishment - it will be great to get a load of us together!! Tikay has very kindly said that he would post some dates in April of what tournaments are on and also his availability to come. So...does anyone want to car share from bradford....will play the evening £10.00 BI but will not pay for £100 3pm BI on my first proper live tourney!!!
Anyone local who fancies the 8pm buy in for a tenner then let me know )
Any one booked any hotels for this weekend yet? It's the Holiday Inn, Castle Marina that Tikay recommended, need to pull my finger out and book this I reckon!! Just be carefull though apparantlyey there are 2 Holiday Inn's in Nottingham - it's the Castle Marina one you need!!
I shall not be at Nottingham this forthcoming weekend but for those who aint booked hotel rooms, Travelodge have also got some super online deals from £19 for next weekend. Whenever i've stayed in Nottingham before i've always booked Travelodge room only and have always found a pub in the morning and had a great full English breakfast and it's does work out a lot cheaper.
