It's one £10,000 package for every 10 runners, with £1,000 for every "one over".
It's looking like somewhere between 18 (1 x Package & £8,000 to 2nd) & 21 for this Sunday, the latter would be TWO x £10k packages, & £1,000 to the Package-Bubbler.
Tony, Paul are already on the 'plane, so to speak, as is Dan, via the TP Route.
The VLV Winners fly out to Vegas on or around the 2nd of July, so it's just over 2 months before the adventure proper begins.
I'm going to try and qualify for it this year. Turn 21 in the middle of June, just in time for the ME. Haven't been on the tables here in a very long time, so it will be awesome to catch up with some of the regulars.

how come some players paid 1100 direct to get to the final and lost.i lost few q to get in to final and it was stressfull.now is a points and is not fair to top players who really wanted.shy boy,bennydip,flashflush,phill,ROSJIM,SOLACK,MAVERICKhitmanrv,cazzie,delta,glitterbabe and ext.gl to u all in the final!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't played any form of poker in a long time up untill last Friday, and i've kinda caught the bug again, so you might see me popping around a little bit from time to time, yes . Pleased to see that the Community is still thriving .

There are Satellites all day today & tomorrow, & Quarter Finals tonight (Friday) & Saturday. I think the Semi-Final may end up with 40 or more, meaning 4 more qualify for the 9pm Sunday Final.

You can still buy-in to this, using Poker Points. The winner gets straight into Sunday's Grand Final at 9pm, & the 2nd to 6th all get a Semi-Final spot which starts at 5pm Sunday.
So, how many will Sunday's Grand Final get? It looks like 20+ is possible, meaning two x £10,000 packages could be won.

Well it was 00.40 this morning before it finished, & when there were three left, and a big "chippy", the Tourney took an amazing turn, with the chippy departing a remarkable three hands later.
There were 19 runners, with the 2nd place scooping a stunning £9,000, & of course the winner gets the VLV package, & joins Team Sky Poker in Vegas in just under 2 months time.
Wd lufc1982 - a 28 yr old Leeds United fan I presume, and WD Direwolf £9k and you don't have to spend two weeks shacked up with TK. I think you are both regulars on SkyPoker, so that is good. Shame Leeds are going to bomb out on promotion:-).

OK, a "last chance" VLV in June? I very much doubt it, though I will speak to the Suits tomorrow & pass on your question. The reasons I would expect them to advance for not doing it would primarily be.....
1) The May VLV Final is 30th May, & so even with a cut off date of, say, 13th June, that would only leave 2 weeks to Qualify for the proposed June VLV Final, & with most people having made their plans by then, it's unlikely that enough players for a 10 runner VLV Final could be assembled via Satellites etc.
2) A VLV Final on, say, 13th June, would only leave 2 weeks to book flights & hotel accommodation for the winner & Guest. Flights to Vegas are already almost fully booked around the start of July, so that might be a problem.
3) Many people have families & such like, & arranging to fly off to Vegas at 2 weeks notice is not easy.
So, no, I don't think it will happen, but I will ask the question for you.
But don't forget, you still have the May VLV to go for. Satellites start today, from as little as £1.45, there will be nightly Quarter-Finals, weekly Semi-Finals, and the Final is on May 30th.
I assume you will be at Luton tonight for that lovely £150 Deepie? I had planned to be there, until I realised that I am doing PTP tonight. Ho-Hum, but at least that's £165 saved.
I might be able to get to Luton this coming Sunday, for the £100, if my flight back from Glasgow to Heathrow is on time. And as it's a BA flight, I'm not hopeful.

It's Viva Las Vegas weekend - this Sunday sees the 2nd of our Three VLV Grand finals.
The state of play, runners & riders are as follows, as of midday Friday......
Sunday's Grand Final will be at 9pm, & will be covered by the Live TV Show, which Sarah Champion & myself will have the pleasure of Hosting.
It's one £10,000 package for every 10 runners, with £1,000 each going to the Package Bubble for every "odd" runner between 11 & 19, or 21 & 29.
So, 17 runners means ONE £10,000 package, & £7,000 for the runner-up, 23 would mean 2 x £10,000 Packages, & £3,000 to the third place finisher.
