    @MISTY4ME

    I'll pass that on Jez, but the schedule may not have enough room to allow the SPT satellites to start earlier.

    Seats per table at SPT Manchester - I assume it will be 8 or 9.

    Really hoping to be there although will have to buy in directly because the odds of me winning a seat via a sat are the same as Stoke getting promoted.

    To be fair, you’re odds ain’t looking that good then? 💩👹💩

    Pack some empty Tupperware so you can fill them up at breakfast for journey home Saturday morning.

    All booked in at Premier Inn (Swinton) which is where I believe @IrishRose , @MISTY4ME @HANSON and @madprof are all booked in, so it may get a bit messy, or just plain daft lol :p

    Most of these hotel prices are grim. It might be cheaper to book a local mansion with a swimming pool if we had enough people.

    Nothing in the notes, so I will ask the leading question...

    What covid rules will be applicable for this Tournament? (if any). Either by Sky Poker, or the casino.

    Glad that the tours are back BTW. Hopeful for a Vegas SPT next year.

    @MAXALLY

    I completely forgot about this question Alan, & was reminded of t last night in a convo elsewhere.

    The COVID protocols at 235 Manchester are broadly as follows (taken from their website);

    "Please continue to be mindful of others while in our venues; wear a mask if you prefer and wash and sanitise your hands frequently".

    "Live" poker in the UK is experiencing a full-on boomlet since they re-opened, with record prize pools galore, & the 235 protocols are the same as all other casinos in the UK to the best of my knowledge.

    Obviously, if anyone is uncomfortable with that, then they must make their own decision as to whether to attend or not.

    I believe there is a home game that weekend .. i was shocked at the prices i normally book sportcity travel lodge but that was over £80 more than last time which was £120 . I found a premiere inn called Manchester (Swinton) 4 miles from casino got 3 nights for £128 family room with a double and 2 single beds split 3 ways makes a cheap weekend .. GL with your search

    I stayed in the Edwardian last time. Well posh. I was eating breakfast with Ant and Dec and Alicia Dixon. It was £340 for 3 nights. This time it's £940!

    Yeah sounds very swanky there and not bad a price at £340 for last time , but £940 to me is a 2 week holiday all inclusive for me and wife ... i TBH only need some where for a few hrs kip as Misty4me and Madprof and myself usually end drinking till the early hrs

    It's international weekend so definitely no Premier League football clashing with the SPT.

    Maybe not technically a proper cocktail, but you like those blue bottled things. Have you ever tried a Cheeky Vimto? It's one of those blue alcopops with port added.

    My mate from a pub league wants to play but doesn’t have a sky account. Does he need to have a sky poker account or can he just enter on the day? Cheers @Tikay10

    @biggirl

    You have a mate?

    As Craig rightly said, no problem, just turn up on the day & pay in, job done.
