Hi Tony, The piece of music is called ecstasy of gold. It comes from the film The Good The Bad and the Ugly. It accompanies a great scene in the movie. Composed by Ennio Morricone . Metallica do a very good version as an encore. I really love this piece, it’s on my playlist. Funnily enough I didn’t hear it at either of my WSOP events. Ha, I now notice it tells you that when you press play. 😂😂😂
Ari Engel has won $7m in earnings, always seems polite at the tables, both online and live, and is a great O8 player. You don't want to ever 3 bet him on the bubble, unless you want to be playing for all your chips. And here is the way Hellmuth talks about him (no doubt loudly and within earshot of all the spectators).
Ari Engel raised from under the gun and was called by Phil Hellmuth in the big blind.
Hellmuth led out on the 7hTdKh flop and Engel flatted.
Hellmuth decided to check on the 8d turn, and Engel bet. Hellmuth called.
The 3c completed the board, and Hellmuth checked again, prompting another Engel bet.
"This f***ing guy," Hellmuth said. "It's okay, he's gonna give me five-hundred thousand before the night is over."
Hellmuth then mucked and Engel scooped the pot.
Brought back memories of watching spaghetti westerns with my dad. He loved the music of Ennio Marricone, although I'm not sure he would have approved of this remix.
The best accompaniment to the Bellagio fountains too.
Never realised they played it at the Bellagio Fountain Show.
When we first watched that we both found it very emotional, in fact Gill cried. Must be one of the most watched free attractions in the world, every 15 or 30 minutes (varies) 7 days a week, 52 weeks per year, & there's always a crowd.

@pompeynic
It was not played when you were there Nick, as the copyright holders had leased the rights to a fragrance business for an aftershave advert.

Engel finished the night on 3.5 million, Hellmuth 400k.
Great stuff, thanks @Doooobs
